Remember when the Rams said "F them picks" and traded for Stafford to win a Super Bowl at the expense of the future? That expense lasted all of one season and four years removed from that championship are now the best team in football.

I don't know who, between the refs and bucs staff, tried to decline the 4th down intentional grounding, but wow.

I say refs because they had to rediscuss it and it's possible the coaching staff was told the wrong info.

Is it just me or was that replay assist wrong?

I know the ball moved, but I never actually saw it touch the ground.

I have been trying to figure that out and I'm pretty sure it was wrong.  This is the best I can get, but at the very minimum that is not a "clear and obvious" play.  I think his hand was under the ball the entire time and it never hit the ground.  I think that's one the rams should have lost their challenge on.Screenshot_20251123_212508_Gallery.jpg.5c40c30512ad70a4b30ab4954d9308d5.jpg

This should be talked about today. A replay assist overturn should only be used for a call that is so egregiously bad due to a bad angle or visual on the field that it can be reversed immediately. It should never, ever be wrong or even able to be perceived as wrong.

I feel like sometimes it gets forgotten that no matter how much a ball is bobbled, moves around, etc … it’s still never actually incomplete until it hits the ground.

Let it now be known across the world that 11-20 209 yards 1 TD 1 INT against a terrible Raiders team in now defined as legendary.

Yeah, I saw similar posts about his "debut" (how quickly they forgot he actually played in the last game?) and then crowing about him leading the Browns to victory.  Then I saw the stats... yikes. If his last name was Johnson, no one would care...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Shedeur Sanders, can't say I'm overly impressed.  Only two passes completed more than 10 yards down the field, and one of those guys was wide open.  There wasn't a single completion from the pocket that was completed more than 10 yards down the field.  One terrible INT mixed in there.  In summary, one nice throw to Bonds and one terrible interception and the rest was really pedestrian stuff.  But hey, he's a QB...the defense that posted 10 sacks had little to nothing to do with winning the game.  I should look at the bright side, his QB rating is all the way up to 52.5.

The following link is video of all the pass attempts in the Raiders game.

The hype on Sanders is hilarious. The opening day starter for the Browns in 2026 isn’t on their current roster.

Does he deserve another start? Sure, Because the alternative is Dillon Gabriel.

Or the receiver touches out of bounds..

Or a Badgers WR doesn't take 14 completed steps in the end zone.

Had a Bear fan at work getting awfully mouthy today.  I could only take that as a near guarantee that the Bears are in for a beatdown on Friday.

I think I actually want them to continue their nonsense another week. Hanging a 4th loss on Philly might be more beneficial to us if we can take care of them twice. I am not concerned about playing the Bears at any point. We could drop a regular season game to them, but I just trust us to beat them in the playoffs if it comes to it. Traveling to Philly is pretty gross.

Yeah that's tough to root for either today...but it's the Bears with a very PJ Fleck - like Ben Johnson coaching them, so I'd enjoy seeing that house of cards get destroyed at Philly and root for a December Eagles loss to someone else.

Those of you who were dead set against acquiring George Pickens cheap this offseason… feel differently now?

Still on outside looking in...but the Cowboys could be a playoff bracket wrecker if they stay healthy

I hope the Eagles take the starch out of the Bears and their fans today. If Bears lose today I think 3-2 the rest of the way for Packers will win division. It would be a disappointment if we didn't do that.

I find myself not really caring too much about today’s Bears-Eagles tilt. If the Packers returning to the Super Bowl is going to happen this year, going to Philly and winning in January is definitely doable, in my mind. Philly does not seem like the same team this year, and I wonder if they’ve been figured out to an extent (at least on offense). And maybe I’m a fool, but after watching LaFleur coach yesterday’s game, I suspect he would approach a rematch with Fangio quite differently than he did in that game a few weeks ago.

Plus, I haven’t an opinion about this, but if one is inclined to believe in the prophecy, perhaps a road win against the Eagles has a certain fated edge to it?

Speaking of Philly not being the same team, neither is the team they beat in the Super Bowl, which makes all the Cowboys glazing today on sports talk television even more laughable. I expected a drop off for KC this year and the dynasty coming to an end, but I certainly didn't see them battling for their playoff lives the day after Thanksgiving. Now, I think Denver is fool's gold and the Chargers are always the NFL's biggest underachievers come December and January, but the division title for the Chiefs is off the table now.

So much for that "easy" schedule for the Bears and them not being legitimate.  The Bears are just taking it to the Eagles on offense.  Other than the one mistake by Williams this has been absolutely dominating game by the Bears offensively.  The Bears run game looks better than the Packers did against the Eagles.
