Brandon Lockridge? Yuck. When it was the Padres I was excited because prospects and them are oil and water lol

He doesn’t play SS or 3B, correct?  2B and OF?

I always wonder if people would feel better if the Brewers waited to the deadline to make all their deals. If Vaughn was doing what he's been doing with the White Sox instead and Priester was doing what he's doing with the Red Sox, would everyone be happier just because we picked up Vaughn, Priester, and Jansen today instead of being proactive with moves, even though we'd probably be 5 games back and would have to pay more for those players by waiting until today?

I think if the Brewers did a deadline trade for a veteran rental with identical numbers as Priester and Vaughn for more than they traded for Priester and Vaughn the same people complaining now would be cheering that they finally went all in.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

I'm assuming Lockridge has options remaining and will be stowed somewhere in Nashville - Nestor probably had next to zero trade value given the fact the Brewers didn't have a spot for him in Milwaukee and everyone knew it.

When we were kids, my friends and I used to divide up our baseball cards in case we died. Those 1991 Fleer were $#!+

He's a good outfielder and a good baserunner. But we aren't short on those things, so I don't get it. And his hitting numbers are terrible.

I got really fired up that maybe Cortes was part of a package for Ha-Seong Kim. Then I remembered Kim wasn't on the Padres anymore. And is in fact still injured.

Really, I let myself down more than anything.
