He’s probably fine. His numbers are still reliable enough. You’ve got other guys who will be under a bit of an innings watch. And you just traded Cortes who was probably the biggest threat to Quintana.

That said, I wouldn’t expect to see him get the ball to start any playoff game.

Contreras hot streak appears to have been a passing facny. The last few games it’s back to weak swings, often at pitches out of the zone.
