I've been hurt before, Brewers. Don't hurt me again. I need this mediocre free burger.

I have never been there, grew up and live west side of state. The menu looks like Denny's. Burgers look good but not sure I would go out of my way to wait in line for a free one.

I think Big Woo gets it done today, it would be weird to get to 11 and fall short twice like this. Players know about it I am sure.

Surprisingly they did not until a reporter asked them about it the other day. I'd have thought they would have at least heard of it. Heck, Woodruff was on the team last time they got 12 in a row and he didn't know what George Webb was.

Back when they had the 6 burgers for $5 promotion…

…let me just say that it was arguable whether those burgers were even worth $1.

I certainly wouldn't want to wait in however crazy long the line is going to be for pretty much any burger, but...if you think of it as joining the community in a celebration, it will probably be more fun.

Disclaimer: I have waited in line at Solly's on multiple occasions, but I also don't live in Milwaukee anymore, so it's a special treat every few years.

I think they handed out vouchers for a free burger the last time so the lines may not be as long.

Second time this year I have had a chance to wear my George Webb's 12 wins guarantee shirt that I received for Christmas. Hopefully a better result today.

It's been a long time for me as well, none here in Madison. Brings back nostalgic memories to 1987 when I was a kid waiting to get a burger with my Grandpa.

Ha!  I remember getting to MU and rounding up some kids in the first few days to get some 6 for $5.  I was kind of embarrassed after seeing what you get.  We expected 30 burgers piled up, to be eating like kings.  They were pretty much low quality sliders and you had to pay for any toppings.  Despite there being a location right on campus then, I don't think it made any of our cheap meal lists after that.

MLB Network said How nice would it be to have a Brewers/Seattle world series. They are also going to interview Isaac Collins who is batting .336 his last 30 games.

I used to go a lot. My Dad would take my younger brother and I for breakfast every Saturday for like a couple years when we were probably around 12 and 10. I went a couple times drunk in college after hours. I've never had the burgers. Only the breakfast, which was standard diner breakfast, definitely not terrible food, not spectacular, but good. It's been 20 years, maybe it's not even as good as I remember? But I do remember liking it enough that we went every week.

This team is so good that nobody will care if they lose today, but hitting the burger win feels like a worthy symbolic accomplishment in this extraordinary season.

Kinda crazy they're 11 - 1 without Chourio. Can't wait for a fully armed and operational battle station once he gets back in the lineup.
