What this streak needs is another win -- feelin' good with Quinn!

We will make little of Littel ... he will hang some pitches down the middle!

Murph will be enjoying his cakes off the griddle!

They are going to win 100 games aren’t they.

At this point they have to go 23-18. Seems possible.

They need to go 23-18 the rest of the way. Sure seems inevitable with the pixie dust they are currently carrying.

I will feel good about that number if we can win this series against Cincinnati by splitting these last two and then taking 3 of 5 from the Cubs. We would need to go 19-15 after that, a 56% clip.

Lot of tough opponents on the horizon however.

Even without Miz if we "let him rest for another 2-3 weeks" we should be able to do that.  He is my main concern as of today, August 16th.

Not if they keep running out lineups like last night

So your saying Isaac Collins should not have been let off cuz his wife is having a baby?  The only other "not regular starter" was Berroa who is a great defender. I agree did not get a hit but made a great defensive play to save a run/rally.

It’s unfortunate that some players can’t control their inhibitions 9 months prior to the months of April-October.

brewers money line this game went from around -135 to -140 at sports books to around -120 to -125. I wonder if one of the stars is going to get the day off, at least to start.

Well I'm an OG that grew up with vacuum tube tv's, guess I'm not up on that.

Tough lefty tomorrow in Abbott. I assume Siegler plays today. Vaughn could deserve a day off someday. Yelich wouldn’t likely sit today and play tomorrow. Ortiz doesn’t get days off typically. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, re: Vaughn, I know he's been hot since he joined us, but it might not be the worst idea in the world to sit him against a tough righty every once in a blue moon to keep him fresh for the home stretch.

Yes yesterday was the first of 19 games in 18 days. That is going to be brutal on the pitching staff.

Why would they be without Miz?

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Why does Vaughn need to sit?? Half the time he's jogging around the bases. He hasn't played meaningful baseball like this for years. I think he's fine until his play proves otherwise.

Did you see him pitch yesterday? He gave up 5 runs with 3 walks in 1.1 innings, he was not himself at all. Hopefully just a bad day but not sure about that.
