The Brewers media is so in Murphy pocket. I just don't get how he's getting away with this. Mccalvy is literally fighting guys on Twitter sticking up for Murphy it's crazy.

The Brewers media kissed Counsell's ring too.

Isn't he essentially employed by the Brewers? He has always kinda been like that, nice guy though. Local media has always been pretty kind to the Brewers. Haudricourt, another nice guy, was an absolute shill for Yost.

One thing that no one will ever truthfully be able to say about Anthony Seigler is “he just didn’t get enough opportunities.”

He doesn't get opportunities because he should be delivering mail.

The only time Seigler should pinch-hit on this current roster is for Jansen.

Exactly!

Professional athlete, literally the best in the world at what they do...worst guy on the bench is paid a king's ransom. Under scrutiny probably since they have been about 8 years old...but dropping a few games and being 6.5 up in the division has them shaken in the middle of a winnable game they trail 6-4? I don't buy it. I think we project our feelings onto what we "can just see."

They're still human.  The swing decisions have a little less conviction.  The pitchers aren't as aggressive.  It shows.  Doesn't mean they suck or won't come out of it but they aren't bullet proof.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Yeah it's so strange. They have three people after a game interview Murphy and two of them Mccalvey and Sophia work for the team. Counsell is missing this set up. He's getting grilled in Chicago.

I hope he is enjoying his pay checks.

I always thought Art LaFleur could star in a biopic as Pat Murphy, but then I remember he died.

Speaking of LaFleur's remember Ron LaFlure with the Tigers?

Just another day gamecast shows poor early strike zone cost 3 runs vs a clean 1,2,3 inning. Miz has been victim of this twice and here's Q's turn. I imagine missed calls, the Brewers are at a disadvantage 3-1.

I get it — I do - but it’s August 28th. Everybody is tired.

The Cubs gave up 12 to the Giants yesterday.

Everybody is tired.
