Has a Brewers game ever started at 8 PM before??? That crowd is going to be liquored up.

I hope the Padres can AT LEAST extend the series, if they can't just win it.

I think the Cubs are the Brewers' biggest threat to making, nay, winning the World Series. I think they are a bad matchup for the Crew because of their elite defense. The Brewers thrive against poor defense. It's why I'm not as concerned about the Dodgers, or even the Phillies (although those teams terrify me, too, but for other reasons).

With that said, I still would favor the Brewers to represent the National League in the World Series, and I would favor them above any American League participant. For the better part of the season, the Brewers have proven their ability to score runs and make life difficult on the best pitchers in baseball.

PREDICTION:  I think that the MULTIPLE meltdowns by elite closers in last season's playoffs has taught us that relief pitcher pitch counts matter a lot. The Brewers' ability to get into, and stay into deep counts, will prove a reliable, repeatable skill. And it will make this one of the greatest postseasons in Major League history, with fast-paced, dramatic at-bats, with runners on base, late in games, in which the Brewers come back to win. Multiple Game 7s... stock up on your BP meds.

If the Cubs are in town I wouldn't be surprised if a brawl broke out b4 the game even starts.

Vogt is a nominee for the Mark Kotsay Playoff Lineup Gamble Award.

He put top prospect Chase Delauter in CF today to make his MLB debut.

After a leadoff single a fly ball came his way for his first fielding chance. He had trouble with the sun and then had the ball pop out of his glove for an error.

ETA Bibee came back to strike out the side so the error didn’t hurt except in terms of high stress pitches to escape the first inning.

My Walgreens had a BOGO on antacids. I got two bottles. I'm ready.

Counsell using an opener for Imanaga today. Strong move.

Actually wasn't he also the closer yesterday game?

I'm trying to remember did Kotsay play CF for us alot during the regular season that year? I don't think he did, which is why the move was so odd. Ugh that was such a bad call.

My buddy and I were just talking about that Kotsay STL playoff game with Gomey on the bench. I can still picture that sinking bloop that Kotsay's 35 yr old legs stumbled to get to.

Although it didn't work out at all. Kittredge gives up hits to the lefties (and a run) and Imanaga has no problem with them in the 3rd.

Guardians explode for 5 in the 8th. 2 HRs and 2 doubles.

Looks like game 3 coming tomorrow.

I believe it was 7PM, but the 2008 Game 3 against the Phillies was a night game. Being the first playoff game since 1982 also contributed heavily but still the best crowd during the Miller Park/AmFam era IMHO.

I wasn't at that one to compare, but 2018 NLCS Game 6 was by far the best sporting experience I've had.

Amazing game to be at. The crowd was cheering so loud for every pitch. I waited my whole life to experience a Brewers playoff game, and a W at that from Dave Bush pitching a gem. It did not disappoint.

Another amazing game to be at, backs against the wall had to win to force game 7 and it was a very good W. Man left that stadium so amped for game 7. We had the momentum.

According to Baseball Reference, Kotsay started 9 games in CF that year, 58 innings total. He hadn't played even 100 innings in CF in the previous two seasons.
