I love these jerseys so much, but they badly need matching powder blue pants, the grey pants look awful.

I’ve heard others suggest the need for matching powder blue pants. I actually love the grey pants.

As a 56-year Brewers fan, I understand the nostalgia of both being blue. So many great memories from the 70’s … but I prefer the combination the Brewers settled on for the 2026 primary road uniforms.

And I certainly don’t mind being in the minority with my preference.

Guess Mitchell needed some ABs in AAA! 😃

Can I have a mulligan on my post a few games back where I foolishly suggested the Brewers send Mitchell to Nashville to get some at bats?

As a slightly younger fan, I agree with you. Colored pants should stay in the history books unless the team is really going for a tracksuit look.

I'll also be a stickler and insist the home jersey has the club's nickname written in block letters over white or pinstripes, and the road uniform in gray or a color with the city name written in script.

The alternative with the dark blue and script is certainly a sharp look and I can see not wanting to dilute that, but something just doesn't look right with "Milwaukee" in block letters, just like how it looked weird to have "Brewers" in the script in the 2000s.

Mitchell on pace for somewhere around 230 RBI's

potentially a 30 RBI day in play with 5 RBI thru 3 innings!

I believe that would be another unbreakable MLB record image.png.05c5d2bc14a0a54daea921fc2dfb3b92.png

Is LF always this challenging for defenders in Kansas City?

Windy day there. Feel bad for Collins... Lockridge playing better D out there and Mitchell with the big bat today.

No runs but not inspiring confidence for Patrick…….so many uncompetitive pitches

Did Lockridge get an error for the misplay on the fly all in LF or was that recorded as a hit?

I agree that Patrick has not been sharp today, but it is pretty impressive to get through four innings (thus far) unscathed when he doesn’t have his normal control.

He got a hit……better inning there in the 5th. Attacked the zone…..finally.

His misses have been so big …..almost all glove side.

Agree, but of course, that's baseball. He allowed 4 hits and 3 walks through 4, then a 1-2-3 in the 5th - also only 47 strikes on 86 pitches. But, he did battle and induced a fair number of pop outs in RISP situations. Good enough, He'll have better days.

And most importantly - zero runs on a day he didn’t have his best stuff

With two outs, I'm shocked Turang didn't score on a double.  He must not have gotten much of a jump or he was tired from the steal attempts...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

It's been Collins so far this year, but I wonder who will be the better career - Collins or Durbin?

We should go to the leverage arms soon? Koenig, Uribe and Megill.

Apparently, the late five run lead on a double header day is influencing Murphy to get a few innings out of his favorite reliever

I don't want to keep on saying the same thing over and over... But I saw Ashby and threw my hands up. Up 5 is not his spot.

Now he is unusable for Gm 2 and tomorrow as well after 2 innings.

I dont love this extended outing by Ashby in game 1...kind of feels like youre willing to let them back in the game with Ashby being erratic today.

Shut the door here and get the game 1 win
