I’m going to be concerned if Chourio isn’t rehabbing somewhere tomorrow night. I thought he was supposed to rehab somewhere over the weekend.

The first report I heard last week was that he would be reevaluated over the weekend to determine if he could go on a rehab

Later, I heard that they were saying he would be reevaluated AFTER the weekend. So, if he is reevaluated today, and they determine that he is ready for a rehab, he could be playing somewhere tomorrow.

If we don’t hear anything today. I’m going to wonder if the reevaluation determined that he is not quite ready yet..

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Yeah, let's hope that we get some news tomorrow morning that Chourio is off to Appleton to get some rehab work in. Would love to see him get 2-3 games with the TRats this week and then maybe you send him to AAA over the weekend. Ideally you get him back maybe for the series in STL early next week? Is that being too aggressive?

With their dire need for offense they’d  probably send him to get some hacks in Appleton to see how the hand feels then rejoin the team in Washington if he recovers well.

There’s not much point to continue with the three headed monster of Perkins, Jones and Lockridge if they’re sure his hand is healed. Chourio rusty > that triumvirate

I hear you, but we also know that the Brewers are never going to rush anyone back from an injury....especially someone as valuable as Chourio. I think they're going to want to make 100% sure that he's fully healed from this hand injury and that he can hit the ground running (without any fear of reinjury) when he does return. I hope you're right and he's back earlier than next week, but that would surprise me if he's back this weekend already.

From Adam

Chourio and Vaughn tentatively will play five innings tomorrow night in Nashville against Norfolk. The Brewers are targeting a May 4 return date -- the opener of a three-game series in St. Louis.

Dang, selfishly, I was hoping Chourio would play a couple games in Appleton this week...

Good news he is close to returning though...

Peña hasn't been in the lineup for the T Rats since he collapsed in Fort Wayne. Worried about the kid, has anyone seen any recent reporting on his status? Only stuff I can find is from the day of the emergency :(

infield prospect Luis Peña is scheduled to meet with a neurologist on May 4 in the wake of a scary incident that occurred last week in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Probably a good idea to take it slow.  Hopefully nothing serious.

I hope so. It will be four years since we’ve acquired Gasser. I appreciate he was injured and has been blocked for most of the time. Gasser has been in Triple A for five seasons this year.

Have there been any more updates on Chourio and Vaughn in Nashville. I haven’t heard anything since their first game on Wednesday.
