Rengifo is quietly on fire the last week.

His rolling 15 game xwOBA coming into today was .323 so he's definitely been swinging the bat better

I’m eagerly awaiting the thread titled “How much will it cost now to extend Rengifo?” (Only half sarcasm, light blue)

I enjoyed Durbin while he was here, and I'm very much enjoying him getting us Harrison.

This rotation could be stacked when we get Priester and Woodruff back. It could really be a domino effect because Patrick and Sprout could become full blown relievers where they would really be a great fit and that would really improve the pen.

They’re talking about the Padres punting the game and using a position player to finish.

The fourth inning is a little early for that kind of talk, especially against a first place team with plenty of punch in their lineup.

Nah, I’m still good there.

Don’t count on woodruff.  That’s a sunk cost for about three years now

Yes he needs to progress but 10 for his last 33 is ok by me.

what would you think 6 of his last 29 which is like .205.    That's what he'd be since the great first day

LOL,  My 90 YO mother e mailed me,  Courio doesn't look that good at the plate but he does play better with temps in the 80's and 90's.

Don't understand why DL is coming in when Anderson, Fitzpatrick, and Woodford haven't pitched in a week. Anderson and Fitzpatrick for 1 and Woodford for 2 feels like a pretty easy decision to get them some much needed work.

I'd pull Chourio and put Perkins in

LOL and Yankees send down Judge and call up Jason Dominoes.

Seriously, why is DL pitching in this game?

Sincere Question: I’d love to hear from some of you …

Why does Milwaukee bat Chourio in the lead off spot?

I’ve never thought this was a good idea since he is one of only a few power bats.

Help it make sense from a baseball perspective.

Thanks in advance for your feedback. 🙌

I'm going off what you said and just took 4 off each.    Looking at my own game logs before today he would be 6/26 for 230ish if not counting the first game.  Addn in another 0-4 today it would be 6/30 then for .200.

Your a dope.

Murphy … even in a blowout, his “in game decisions” make me scratch my head

That said, Murphy’s “intangibles” are unmatched in MLB

Speed is one reason plus, you never want to walk a leadoff hitter.

I would not be at all concerned about Chourio. He's a guy who has tended to start slow anyway, and I'd imagine that applies extra coming off an injury.

Definitely not an encouraging day re: swing decisions, but far from anything worth stressing about.

This is a nice bounce-back performance so far. Have to finish it out, of course, but you love to see it after last night.

* you're

Please explain your point.    You said the numbers and said .303 is ok.  I pointed out 200-230 based on taking out the one game (which is what we all said).  So, what is wrong making it 'dopey'
