It's hard enough to pitch in this homer palace.  It's even harder when your defense makes you get 6 outs an inning.

Harrison has been amazing, but all the “we don’t need Skubal, he’d be our #3 starter in the playoffs behind Miz and Harrison” rhetoric is just a tad premature. Let’s give him more than 11 starts before we proclaim him better than the back to back AL Cy Young winner.

I was really looking forward to tonight’s game with Harrison. I’m completely worried about the next two games because of our starting pitching injuries. Now I’m worried this could be a sweep. We seem to have one unbelievably bad series every year. I’m not a fan of this ballpark.

Vaughn and Bauers should play every game until proven otherwise.

I mean it has already proven otherwise, the Brewers broadcast tonight even pointed out how bad Vaughn is against RHP. Stick with what works.

Cool.  So Harrison has thrown like 20 more pitches and given up an extra run because Contreras is a coward who refuses to challenge.

This has been proven accurate. When the ump stinks be more aggressive with challenges. Wasted a Harrison start.

Funny that these A’s can hit like this but my guess is that Yelich will not. Can’t play in the field, roll over to 2nd too much. Rengifo? Goodbye. Ortiz? Same.

Our sentimentality will catch up eventually. And, even if we make post-season, Yelich is not a superstar anymore. We won’t win a WS.

Better to try younger talent from AAA now! along with actual hitters like Turang, Vaughn, and Bauer.

There is zero justification for keeping Rengifo & Perkins on this roster. My hope is the change takes place after this road trip is completed. Hopefully we don’t skid into a slump up in the process of waiting on these “common sense” roster tweaks.

Wait so who said Skubal would be our #3 starter on here?

Man I hope we don’t trade for Skubal & send away two or three top prospects for two months of a rental

Can’t remember, it was in a thread last week. Basically saying it wouldn’t be worthwhile because as a #3 behind Miz and Harrison, Skubal wouldn’t see enough playoff games.
