2026 Draftee Signing Thread

Side note: appreciate bf but kind of annoyed with the BF signing  “tracker” feature this year. Reports have been out for a week now of signings that aren’t being reflected.

The Brewers are $129,100 over slot through the Ebel, Strosnider, Jones, Garcia, Oshinskie, Tom, Mora, and Gaines signings.

Counting the 5% overage the Brewers still have $962,545 left to spend with Knaak and Hill still needing to be signed in rounds 1-10.

I wonder if we'll be able to get Knaak and Hill below slot...

For us to get Bell  (and sign Knaak & Hill), that probably will eat up the majority of our remaining pool, not leaving much to go over $150k for the remaining draftees in Rounds 11-20

Knaak needs to come a good amount below slot for that to happen. I personally do not like his pitch mix whatsoever so I am really hoping its a small bonus. The plus changeup is fun but he has no feel for spin and the fastball shape is gonna get absolutely blasted against better competition.

I was told not to talk about Ruby's bonus until it became official, but I think this is a steal to not have to use any slot money to sign him.
