Sugano is 5-0 in his last 6 starts - pretty impressive for a team 22 games below .500.

Looks like he’s due for a clunker

He has had plenty of those still during that 5-0 run, 22 runs in 32 innings, including 7 HR. Reminds me when Braden Looper led the 2009 Brewers in wins but also led the league with 39 HR given up.

I'll say this for him: he doesn't walk guys.

I was all ready to say that he pitches pretty well away from Coors, but his numbers are actually a little better at home. As mentioned by @homer he doesn't walk many, and our large innings are often fueled by long ABs/walks so there's that.

Hoping for continued growth from Drohan. And the BP is in pretty nice shape (still hoping for one more LHP out there though).

Hope it's not like the home run derby last year where the team looked uninterested in starting early to accommodate the post-game event and laid a total egg.

Just looking at the Rox OPS's and their lineup is potent (of course, gotta take Coors into account), Where they fall down is runs allowed - currently in dead last at 596 (MKE is at 381). They've also allowed 1,048 hits - 2nd worst is at 949, and the Brewers are at 2nd best at 741.

I hate falling behind a bad team early … again

These poor starts put me in a grumpy mood

I could care less about these “old timer” games

Maybe we need to use an opener again.

I suppose I should ask what the Brewers winning percentage is when they fall behind 2-0 with one out in the top of the first inning.

Based on a comment I received the other day that should determine how I feel about this game.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
