Padres (Pivetta) vs Brewers (May): 10/6/26, 8:30pm

[Opening Day]

"If you're the Brewers you want to knock them out.  If you're the Padres you want to extend."  - Alex Rodriguez

"You have the crowd but you don't want Milwaukee to get a lead" - Jeter

Not everyone is capable of analysis like that.  Whatever they are paying this crew, they are earning every penny.

[Fear The Chorizo]

Dude threw 40 pitches sunday, he likely wasnt available tonight anyway.

Also - watching the pregame, apparently the only teams left in the NL field are the dodgers and padres....sickening

Nothing different from Saturday and Sunday.

[edfunderburk]

A quality start by May tonight would make all of us happier with the trade deadline acquisition

Has felt like a Pads pre and post every game, crazy. Heck, Matty V tried talking about how loud it got in game 2 and A-Rod asked if he lives in Milwaukee.

It’s possible that Miller may not have bounced back that well from his uncommon 40 pitches on Sunday and might not have been used tonight anyway.

I bet he’ll be back tomorrow if there’s a game 4 and there are no family problems.

This is what I was thinking. After throwing 40 pitches Sunday night, and even though it's an elimination game for the Padres, I wasn't totally convinced he'd be available tonight anyway

[Branyanisthegoat]

Anyone taking bets on what Padres will cry about today? Game 1=roof, game 2=sign stealing, game 3=???.

Never seen so many crybabies, cant handle 5 games of this.

Murphy said that he thinks the Padres might pitch around Jackson in a way and wanted Bauers to hit behind him since Turang is struggling a bit

This seems strange to me since Bauers has had a hole in his bat for about the last month.

Probably crying about Mason Miller “abandoning” his team because he and his wife can’t plan a baby well.

Must be nice to effectively have a 28 man roster.

The Brewers obviously need to step up their paternity leave game.  Murph is 67 and hes having more kids than any of them.

[Brian]

Holy crap what a nice catch.

[Fear The Chorizo]

Jesus....Chourio would be hitting like 800 in this series if it weren't for insane Padre defense

[craigharmann]

Jackson gave that a ride.

[BCF]

Jackson’s been robbed so many times this series

[Branyanisthegoat]

Have crushed so many balls that found gloves, and the Brewers are lucky, strange.

[yfinn6]

Bauers must've been guessing breaking ball on 3-2.

[82brewcrew82]

Now for the important part.

[Just Some Guy]

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

[Bulldogboy]

What in the world is that?

[jw5511986]

Is this guy ******* serious?

[yfinn6]

One freakin' pitch in. Thanks William.

[BCF]

What a stupid challenge

[OldSchoolSnapper]

That is inexcusable from Contreras.

[craigharmann]

CHALLENGE THE FIRST PITCH????? COME ON BILL!
