I don’t know how a guy like May who was doing some solid work on a team with a worse defense behind him and can come to our organization with all our pitching focus and get so much worse. It is kinda mind blowing.

The theory that we could play up his stuff and that his playoff experience would pay off down the stretch has just not come to fruition. It really stinks, but here we are. This is the part that worries me about a long series.
