  1. In what world is giving up Sal/Mitchell, Wichrowski, and Shane Smith giving up less than Herrera, Hunt, and Boeve. Saying Herrera has electric stuff makes me think you don’t know who he is. KC Hunt is at best comparable to a guy like Shane Smith so if you think KC Hunt is pretty damn interesting I don’t know how you wouldn’t think the same of Smith who is 3 months older and pitching extremely well in AA. Anderson’s track record isn’t good. He’s had two good seasons in his career and one was in 2016. He's the biggest FIP overperformer among qualified pitchers, his xFIP and SIERA are both over 5, he’s making 2 times as much money as Fedde. Giving up a haul for him just for him to regress in Milwaukee while being our third most expensive player on the roster would be such a bad move.
  2. Wichrowski also really struggling today. His AA ERA is sitting north of 6.
  3. KC Hunt is not sharp today. Leaving the breaking balls up and they are getting hit hard. This will be a short outing for him.
  4. His peripherals are horrible. Hard pass. He looked good last night against a Brewers offense that has been stinking it up for over a month now. I don't understand your apprehension towards Fedde but then willing to give up Sal/Mitchell, Wichrowski, and Shane Smith for a 34 year old Tyler Anderson.
  5. I can't help but wonder if he rushed back from the hamstring injury because he wanted to play in Philly. He's genuinely been terrible since coming off the IL and is in the midst of by far his worst calendar month of baseball in his career. He has a .222 xwOBA in June and the next lowest monthly xwOBA in his career is .282. Those are the only 2 months of his career he's had an xwOBA under .300. Considering how good his peripherals were before he went on the IL to how bad they are now; one has to wonder if he's totally healthy. Then again basically the entire Brewers offense has sucked in June. Only Adames and Ortiz have an xwOBA above the league average .317 in June.
  6. 2 weeks in a row he broke trackman by hitting the ball too hard/far.
  7. Darvish got up 0-2 on 2 sliders against Chirinos and for whatever reason they tried to throw a FB instead of a slider that Chirinos showed no confidence in touching. Chirinos took the FB at the top of the zone and crushed it to CF. 109 EV.
  8. 3rd strikeout looking for O'Rae on on the night on a pitch right down the middle.
  9. Yoho has ran out of gas. Command really wavered to the last two hitters and he walks both of them and gets pulled.
  10. Could he? I think so. Will he? I very much doubt it. This is just his second season as a pitcher. Having him come up late in the year when he's over his career high in IP feels like something I don't think the Brewers would put on him especially because our bullpen has been very good.
  11. Yoho comes in and goes 6 pitches, 6 strikes to strikeout both hitters and strand the bases loaded. Hilariously bad swings.
  12. Shane Smith with another walk with a bunch of bad misses. Bases juiced with 1 out and his day is done. Yoho comes in trying to strand the bases loaded.
  13. Shuckers defense failing Smith in the 5th. O'Rae tries to get the double play despite there being absolutely no play at 2B and an easy out at 1B. It leads to both runners reaching. 1st and 2nd with 1 out now when it should be 2nd with 2 outs.
  14. O'Rae strikes out looking in his 2nd and 3rd AB. Will be interesting to watch his strikeout rate in AA. He struck out quite a bit in A+ for a guy with such little power.
  15. He's getting away with some elevated breaking balls that are really bad pitches but being swung through because they are so bad
  16. Shane Smith with some very unusual horrible control. He has 3 HBP only 1 out into the 3rd inning.
  17. Mudcats infield defense really letting Rodriguez down in this inning. Lots of weak contact not being turned into outs.
  18. No I heard the Trash Panda's announcers say O'Rae is the one that threw it. I mean we know that wasn't the CF/RF airmailing 3B from the warning track in right center. Not even Lamar Sparks and his amazing arm can do that.
  19. The throw did hit the cut off in O'Rae. O'Rae then overthrew 3B missing the runner slipping and there being at out at 2B where Boeve was covering.
  20. Dylan O'Rae slaps a single through the left side of the infield on the first AA pitch he saw. He then proceeds to steal a base 2 pitches later. Fantastic start to his AA career.
  21. AAA is moving to full time challenge system. No more 3 days of ABS and 3 days of challenge system. I know one @Joseph Zarr will be thrilled to see this news. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/40377474/abs-challenge-system-set-used-triple-starting-june-25
  22. No Luis Pena for DSL Brewers 1 today. Hopefully whatever caused him to be removed early yesterday and not be in the lineup today is minor and won’t keep him out long.
  23. No corresponding move to add a pitcher in Carolina? Weird time to release a pitcher when you have 8 games this week unless something happened off the field.
  24. Also Chapman's 3.5 fWAR and 5.2 bWAR pace is nothing special? Do you actually believe that or do you just only look at OPS to determine how good a player is?
