There is no way that the Brewers are going to play .333 ball for the rest of the season. Then again, it is certainly possible. I think that the lesson here is that I wish I was not a sports fan.

Brian seems to get funnier and funnier the more the Brewers lose.

EDIT: not on this thread, but other threads. 11 hits per game average, that is to funny.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Despite the Brewers' struggles this past month or so, the quality of play during the game still beats the quality of any commercial that airs on FSN during the game, hands down:

- Tailgating Tips with Jerry Garcia

- "Why do they race? They race for taste!"

- (Cue music) "Moving on up to the East Side.."

- (Cue music and walking yellow lego-man) Cold filtered four times...

The Brewers were simply trying not to incur the wrath of animal protection organizations by making sure every ball they hit found a glove, as to not put all of those birds who call the Tigers ballpark home in danger. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I am proud of our humanitarian ways.

I think Russ' comment from the IGT bears repeating here:

The Crew can have two teams tied for second, get no hit and STILL not lose ground in the standings. Team of destiny, I tell ya!

Wednesday's another day.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

At least it took a flock of seaguls along with the 100 MPH fastball and great curve to no hit them. If you need an 80's one hit wonder band to throw a no-no does it really count?
There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

It's great to see that this team can put together a well pitched game with its bullpen in an emergency situation (although most of the credit goes to Villy - he was as good as you could expect last night).

In seasons' past I remember some of those games when a starter was scratched, or left early with an injury - Brewers long relievers were not good (sorry 'bout that, Matt Kinney)

Thanks, ccbrew. This has now been in my head for almost 24 hours.

Though it is less bad than the dancing lego guy music.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Corey Hart has an .858 OPS. Yee haw, Huck!

I think winning a series against a very good team -- even after being no-hit -- definitely qualifies as a silver lining. Maybe even gold lining!

The hardest part of the year is done!

We don't play a team with a winning record until we face Arizona at home after All Star break.

Almost all the hard teams come to our home the rest of the year.

Things are looooooookin' up!
