so Thames must be before Yelich in the lineup because of his Superior OBP and baserunning? Or is it Yelichs greater SLG?

Need that second cleanup hitter batting after Kratz and Chacin

No Nottingham? Cause the young buck can't catch a game after catching 10 innings? Boo. lol.

I want him to get the lion's share and knock Kratz off the roster, and go 50/50 with Pina.

I can dream!

No Cain? :(

Scheduled day off for Cain, per McCalvy.

Good lord. All-star break approaching, he just got back from the DL, and he isn’t exactly a catcher. Stupid

Well, it isn't like Cain is going to get a "break" during the All Star Break. Plus, 7 games in 6 days before the break.

No Perez? What the heck!?! Come on Counsell!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

So...

If on opening day I would have told you that on July 10th we would have the best record in the National League AND that day our 5-8 in our lineup would be Tyler Saladino, Brad Miller, Keon Broxton, and Erik Kratz ... what kind of feelings would you have provided me?

Only a few exhibition innings. No derby. =break

Must win tonight. This thread will be very tough to read if they lose or are losing tonight...

Damn, I wasn't going to watch but with our playoff hopes on the line I better tune in.

I could be mistaken in my interpretation, but my understanding of the post was that it's a must-win to avoid having this thread devolve into the typical madness that ensues with more than 1 loss in a row.

Miami has no business beating the first place Brewers in their park with no fans. Tonight Chacin puts a stop to that hopefully. Yelich needs to show them what they are missing too.

I was late for the game lastnight and I was going to ask what the ovation for Yelich was like but then I realized there was nobody in the park to give an ovation.
