This umpire is horrible.

It's-a-me, Phil Cuzzi!

All the umpires are jokes and aren't even on Mario's level... they're more like the annoying youtube guy blippi

The Cardinals are nowhere close to having the division wrapped. It should be a wild finish.

Other than keeping the Brewers in it, these two wins were vital in that regard. We need the Cards to keep fighting until the end against the Cubs and such.

The only thing better than the Packers beating the Vikings at home would be Ryan Braun hitting a game-winning home run at Busch.

After saying that this morning, I feel like I should be going to Vegas, or, at least, playing the lottery. :laughing

Best prediction I’ve ever seen! Wow!

It's been a season long issue from game one till today. Not completely on him of course but in general a reason he shouldn't be back.

Neither one of those statements is true. The pitching staff has performed very well of late and that would indicate he needs to stay.

Washington isn't even safe. And they play STL now. The Brewers are really in a terrific spot right now if they can do what they haven't done basically all year, beat up a bunch of awful teams.

Well in all fairness, they started doing that last week with Miami. But yeah.

False. Unbelievably false.

Not too long ago the brewers were only one game over .500. Now we're 2 weeks from the finish line and still playing games with meaning.

Not at all false but continue your narrative that a pitchers failure to execute is on the pitching coach.

Wow, the Pirates gave up 47 runs to the Cubs in that 3-game series. Hopefully they don’t show up for us as well.

Honestly, it’s probably bad for the Cubs in the end. Their hitters will be used to batting practice-level pitching after these last three days, and now when they see real professionals again this week, they’ll be lost at the dish.

Look at all the shocked and disappointed faces.

The Cardinals final 13 games are against the Nationals, Cubs, and Diamondbacks.

That's 13 guaranteed combined losses for those four teams.

Cardinals face the Cubs 7 times - that's seven guaranteed losses combined by those teams.

If my math is correct, if the Brewers win 9 of their last 13 they are guaranteed to at least have a one-game play-in, and if they win 10 of 13 they are guaranteed to be in.

My narrative is the pitching coach is responsible for the overall performance of the pitching. Check the stats. It hasn't gone well.

Very interesting. I believe this is spot on. If the Brewers continue playing well they should be in.

If the Brewers end up falling short, I’m going to be looking at that 28-36 stretch from mid June to late August that included a lot of losing series to bad teams as the reason why.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Back to the photo of the stunned fans. Have to love the jubilant Brewer fan in the upper left corner. Guys got guts celebrating like that in the middle of a Cardinal crowd.

I can’t wait now for the archive telecast to come up on Mlb.com so I can watch the 9th inning with the Cardinals announcers. That usually comes up about 90 minutes after the game ends.

Your comment was literally that the gopher ball Hader served up was the fault of Chris Hook. That is incorrect. The pitching staff isn't good because it isn't good. Not because Chris Hook makes a significant difference one way or the other. You can change the goal posts all you want.
