Dude is rocking a .186 BA and a .623 OPS...in AAA.

 

This moves the needle even less than Axford's resigning to become a one-appearance gas can so defective he nuked his own elbow, so I'm assuming this is the ultimate example of a "break glass in case of emergency" kind of deal.

I would if I were Kapler. Two games coming up against the backside of the Brewers rotation, he has to figure those are the most winnable games. No need to burn the bullpen any further today.
