2021-09-10: Brewers (Houser) at Indians (Morgan) [Brewers win, 10-3 -- Cain’s grand slam delivers the dagger; Crew 32 games over .500 for 1st time in franchise history]

[Vgmastr]

As much as I'm looking forward to the playoffs I really don't want this season to end, this team has been so much fun to watch.

[adambr2]

Can a dude just hit a grand slam and admire it for once without being admonished by baseball purists and opposing fans?

[Fear The Chorizo]

Baseball is fun when the team you root for is really good in all phases of the game collectively...

[Underachiever]

Schroeder called it a “back-leg buggy whip”. That’s one I need to remember.

[Zad Fnark]

Heh... "purist"

Must be "The Cardinal Way".

(hard to type with second degree burns.)

[jason21nl]

BA has kinda changed up his HR call. He has been saying “Uh oh” then the rest of the call. I think I like it

I feel like I missed something? I think fans were booing a bit but I wasn't paying close attention to them, maybe some were yelling stuff?

[owbc]

Love the swagger from this team.

[willie key]

I didn’t think houser would make it through 5. Props to him. Gutted this one out Edited September 11, 2021 by willie key

[BruisedCrew]

Escobar has the HR stroke from both sides.

[jason21nl]

Holy crap Escobar!

[SeaBass]

It's raining homers!

[willie key]

Brewers are pretty good

[Soupbone]

Hard to believe Hauser has only given up one hit.

I wonder who has had their name spelled incorrectly more than Houser. Maybe Sexton? Counsel? Rodgers?

[PinaMadness]

Really, BA? MLB umpires are the best at what they do?

[jjfanec]

Of our top 5 starters Houser has the worst ERA at 3.25. Just insane. Chacin had a 3.5 era and was our ace

Yeah that was silly.

NHL officials best in any sport.

[nate82]

If the Cardinals win tonight their E# will be the same as the Reds but will have played 3 less games than the Reds.

Agree.

Although soccer officiating is the most fascinating. It's like everyone knows the job is impossible (and the whole culture is about fluidity over precision), so you only have to not seriously mess up to be pretty good.

Speaking of NHL, I laugh when I hear about the debates whether Brady or Jordan is the GOAT of all GOATs. The real answer is Gretzky.

[pacopete4]

Manager-pitcher exchange.

[PinaMadness]

When's the last time you saw a shortstop with a beard?

[Cool Hand Lucroy]

Manager-pitcher exchange.

There's something you don't see every day. And here I thought the Cubs were the kings of "you gotta find something to play for when you're terrible."

[Underachiever]

When's the last time you saw a shortstop with a beard?

Brandon Crawford, last week?

Paul DeJong, just now?
