No hitting, crappy pitching, and boneheaded defense. 

The umpires are the least of the Brewers problems today.

I was just thinking the same thing!

Days like this are when it's advantageous to cheer for two MLB teams...I'm heading out for Mariners' opening night in a few hours, so the day can still be salvaged.

Ha - look at Gus walking off the field. Was trying so hard to hold back a huge smile. I saw the grin, though.

Great first MLB inning from Varland. Dealt with a shifting (shocker) strikezone. Threw very good stuff. Got out of a tough jam. Love it. Welcome to the Big Leagues! I believe we saw one change-up? Nice to see he didn't rely on his best pitch. Lot of tailing rise on that heater. This'll play.

Winker and Contreras look like they will fit right in with the Brewers offense.
