If there was a poll of fans, how many actually want opening day (especially that isn't Game #1) at 1pm?

We are one of only two mid-day games...and know we aren't one of only two opening day games.

I’d guess most of the fans attending the game prefer the early start.

Get to skip work, day drink on a Monday and then have more time to sleep it off before work tomorrow.

When I went to opening day on a yearly basis I liked the early start but don't really have any interest going now no matter the time. Viewing wise there are day games throughout the year, mostly on getaway day, so don't mind the early game time today. Can avoid spoilers and watch quickly at home.

As someone who is going, the day game is nice, allows me to get home at a decent time(I live in Green Bay). Makes attending the game alot easier

I work from home and have young kids. I always want more day games in MLB.

Agreed. With a 2.5 hour trip from SW Wisconsin, the afternoon start means being home at a decent time and ability to watch NCAA championship tonight.

Same same. I pretty much only watch the weekday day Brewers games so I haven't seen them play since Thursday in Chicago. All I've seen from the weekend is the box scores and briefly reading parts of the IGT here.

Hopefully Vogey and Narvaez take a breather and sit their bats out versus their ol' club. It's the polite and respectful thing to do.

In his ongoing quest to Wally Pip, Tyrone I am predicting an opening day cycle for Weimer with an OF assist just for good measure.

I've always thought around a 3 PM start is the best time for opening day.  Still has the day feel but allows people traveling from further away time. Allows for more tailgating and not having to rush in.  While still getting done plenty early without the issues of a night game. Which is also good for long commutes to get home not crazy late.

I think the best one I remember was roughly 2012 (almost sure) and it was a Friday mid afternoon like that vs the Cards.

Uggg Peralta with the opening yips like usual.  It's like he gets over hyped and doesn't settle down until the 2nd or 3rd inning.

The Brett Favre of the Brewers (hopefully only Favre's Packers playing days).
