Finally! I pulled off a true immaculate grid today. ( all former brewers)

L-R I went:

Gomez, Aaron, Yount

Greinke, Grissom, Sutton

Viña, Franco, Molitor.

Fernando Viña rarity score .008%🙂

Yesterday’s was one of the easier ones I’ve seen. Had GG, MVP, all star and.300, avg, braves, yankees.
Some of the grids I’m lucky to get 4 or 5.

Yesterday was super easy.  The rarity scores were easy to get too.  Bottom right I used George Brett and he was a 3% which floored me.

I had Phil Niekro for the Braves gold glove combo yesterday. Had to get a Milwaukee Braves reference in there.

I'm waiting for the Cardinals Braves combo to put in Uecker. I wonder if he would count as a HOFer in immaculate grid?

I don’t know how you get 9/9. I’ve done it exactly once, in about 40 tries.

It's super easy...it's called "cheating."

I usually fill in about 5 or 6, then check my next one or two on baseball reference...if I had the patience to sit and compile a list for every box for 5 mins or so I'd be less likely to cheat....but who has the time for that? Usually I'll think of a guy and unless i'm 95% sure or so i'll just check it quick on BR.

It would be more fun to do it competitively with a time limit...

Was stunned to learn yesterday that neither saberhagen nor Cone struck out 200 with the Royals.

Yea that was surprisingly tricky because back in the day there wasn't so many Ks. But I'd have thought pitching so many more innings would balance it.  and I think the same day had batters who struck out 150 times.  Also a bit tricky as really that didn't happen a long time ago.

Yea certainly a decent way to blow 5-10 mins a day.   I'd say in general I usually get 8. Don't remember ever not getting 7. Maybe get 9 25% of the days or a bit less.

https://www.crossovergrid.com/   This site also has other sports along with their own baseball one most days.   I usually just do the baseball and NBA

The 300 wins and 300 saves one was tough, especially since it was less than 7.

Happy to say that I got a 9/9, 73 pts. Helped that there were a lot of large market teams. No cheating, either!

Nice, only 8/9.   Missed the Bos ROY.   Went with Devers although I thought he did struggle a bit rookie year.  Maybe would've gotten to Nomar if I spent more time but not sure.

ETA: Did get 9/9 on the other today but it was also big markets.  Angels/NYY took me longer than it should

I could not figure that one out, I usually "cheat" by looking up rosters and trying to guess who it could be without clicking on their profile. Greinke's Cy Young year was really something, 242K!

I somehow forgot him as well as the most recent one but remembered the guy who won six years before I was born.

I did get the Royals one, but looking afterward, Appier didn’t hit the mark by much.

Had a high rarity score today, 205, but did get 9/9.  Took awhile to get the Orioles/Rays and then Aubrey Huff came to mind.  I find most days are really difficult but thought last Saturday's and today's were pretty easy.

Nelson Cruz was the top choice for two different cross team answers. That's crazy. Rays x Rangers and Rays x Orioles.
