Hahaha, that’s sick, kid.

Well, well, well.  Doing it against Cinci is nice, doing it in Philly is something else.  Now July’s final boss awaits.  What a huge week and a half this is going to be. I’m psyched.

I really don't like the rule where a hitter can still reach first after striking out if the catcher doesn't throw him out like what happened in the bottom of the 8th.

I think the theory behind it is that the defense should have possession of the ball to get a putout.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Nasty. Brewers just took 2/3 from the hottest team in baseball!

No, the Cardinals are the hottest team in baseball.

If I'm not mistaken, coming into this series, the Phillies had the best record in baseball over the last month.

Brewers are now 20-9 (best record in MLB) since that six game losing streak in the middle of June.

With the emergence of Uribe and the eventual return of Woodruff and Ashby, it is becoming more evident the Brewers do not need to add any arms at the deadline.

And with Owen Miller hitting 4th, it is becoming more evident that all resources should be going towards getting at least two above average bats.

Burnes showing his surprise allstar selection was warranted, 11 games over .500 for first time this year. I have had hard time getting excited about this team this year but I am coming around. :)

Brewers have won 8 of their last 10 just like the Cards

Yeah, but they'd be 11-0 in their last ten with Hiura instead of Winker.

Uribe is gonna be fun out of our pen... Uribe and Williams locking down games for years to come, can't wait to watch it!

And the Dodgers. I was just going by the last 10 games played.

If we don't trust him to pitch in a game with a 4 run lead, he shouldn't be on the roster.

Then you could say that about every pitcher on the staff.

It’s not a matter of trusting  him so much as the danger of the 3 hitter rule. If a guy comes in and walks two guys without coming close to a strike you’re stuck leaving him in for another batter.

A lot of managers would bring in their closer with a 4 run lead against the heart of the order of a good hitting team. But I know why Counsell didn’t want to do that today given how much Williams, Payamps, and Peguero have been used because the offense hasn’t been able to build more comfortable leads.

I wasn’t questioning the move, but I was nervous about it, and the leadoff walk on a non competitive ball 4 didn’t help.

Probably not of course, but 4 of their last 5 losses have been by just a single run, so It's not that hard to imagine them having gone on a just absurd run with a little more offense.
