Counsell seems to be another guy who just doesn't seem to get it with pitching moves. He's not going to be able to just blow off Sophia after the game. Chicago media will eat.

I was wondering how he was handling the media, and how they are treating him.

He was basically only given softball questions here, got off the hook on a constant basis by the company men/women paid to ask the questions.

I'd like to watch him squirm with the Chicago media, but are they grilling him, or letting him slide?

What’s the defensive alignment in the OF after the Wiemer injury?

Bauers, Perkins and Churio are the outfielders now

They have been winning so not too bad. They liked he pulled plug on Alozay as closer. Still honeymoon period.

Not to be a Counsell defender but he had his hands tied today with their bullpen availability. I don't think today is the day he's going to get grilled by the media.

Let's not revise history just because he's on the Cubs now.

This defense makes me nervous

Not sure about Ortiz throwing to Sanchez

Hopefully Megill records a few strike outs & induces a pop up to the left side

Chourio recognized a looping breaking ball he can hit and just missed, but would almost prefer him to let that go in that situation and see if he can get a fastball.

Should we expect to see Brewer Hicklen in Chicago tomorrow?

If not - who gets called up for Wiemer?

I'd go with Isaac Collins personally.

Dillard just said that he hoped the kid who got hit in the face with the ball was a Brewer fan so he can go home happy.
