Gotta say I do not like this deal all that much up front. I like it for the Reds. Do not like for the Brewers (unless of course Montas pitches lights out and then I never once doubted this trade).

Yah, not liking this one. I'd rather give Wiemer another offseason to get things right than give him up for a guy whose good season or two are a while ago.

Montas has decent stuff still but is getting lit up. Why not just let Junis be a starter  If we are paying 1 cent of his deal we got robbed.

Junis can't go more than 2 innings and we probably needed to offset the salaries as best as we could. And the only spot Wiemer would thrive in already has Blake Perkins doing more than an adequate job as a reserve outfielder.
