Hoskins has not exactly been validating anyone who thought he would be improved this year. Looks even worse. At least he had power last year if nothing else.

I sometimes like to watch the games with the sound off if only so that I don’t have to listen to levering saying “sweeeeng and a miss”.

But, when I do that, I miss gems like what he said after Yelich’s walk:“the stage is set for the heart of the order”.

Maybe the stage was set for Contreras, but the “heart”of the Brewers order is at the top. They’re getting next to nothing out of 6-9, and with Frelick not playing the 5 spot is a hole too
