Sell high on Priester at the deadline?  I got scolded here for wanting to sell high on Joey Wiemer a few years ago, so I’m all ears on this one.

You’ll have to define “high”, was there ever really a “sell high” window on Joey Wiemer?

Yes … Durbin is the answer

I hope Arnold goes & gets Neto from the Angels

Angels won't be selling. They think they have a chance (they don't) like usual

I sure hope we see Perkins this inning for defense.

And offense … he would replace Bauers who is now under the Mendoza line

I would start next year with Turang at short and Durbin at second. Find a power bat to play third. Ortiz utility.

Someday I’ll look up my Wiemer trade high idea I started, but what I mean is going after someone like Zach Neto or CJ Abram’s and not have to give up a ton more if Priester is the centerpiece.

NM, you just answered my question above.

I hate even responding to this... But what would you need in return to trade him? You have been trying to trade DL Hall for a bag of baseballs the last month+ ...

Zach Neto or CJ Abrams with us not having to add the cream of our minors.

You should yell at that cloud. He’s dealing, his pitch count isn’t high and sitting him down after 6 is a mistake by Murphy.

By far Murphy's biggest weakness is managing the pitching staff and the bullpen in particular.

You have to put in somebody, the starter won't pitch all 9, we still have a shutout.

I get it. I know what the stats say and I understand the Brewers are in a division race. But I feel like I can still be allowed to mourn the era of a guy going for a complete game. Some of my favorite memories are guys putting the team on their back and going nine.

I mean I just think Priester should have been able to go 7 tonight. They may still win anyway. I hope they do.

Ortiz is the guy to replace.

It appears Murph got in his head with the benching and public criticism. Some guys just don’t respond well to that.
