Woman next to me telling me how she’s a Brewer fan but pulling for Schwarber because “he seems like a nice guy.”

Not the time for this, lady.

Does anyone else play ******* Sunday lineups or is it just us.   Why can’t Harper and schwarber be benched against us

and get Jansen out of here.   Get back Haase who actually contributes to a good team

I get Frelick is still maybe balky, Yelich has a flare up, and Contreras needs to DH some this month because he’s going to be behind the plate the whole way in October. Fine, fine.

But did Turang have to be out today, too? All four out is just brutal.

Not, therefore, a Brewers fan.

yea Jansen sure hasn't paid off.  Supposed to be a lefty masher and it just hasn't happened.   Sure I get haase is just blah but he was perfectly fine to me, usually came up with a hit/walk per game and seemed to have a bit of knack for coming through. I get wanting to upgrade where possible, especially if Contreras were to get hurt, but it just hasn't worked.

Miller move as well didn't work.  simpler route probably was just getting a good reliver who wasn't coming off an injury rather than jumping through all the hoops to get him. Hand might've been forced behind the scenes with Cortes wanting out but still a non-injure guy had to be there. Miller was awesome this year though, so i get why they wanted him

I had a navy bandmate called Denny Jansson. A good guy and a fine trombonist and musician, not a jock. Whenever Danny Jansen comes up, I quietly wish the trombonist DJ were at the plate. 😕

Now Jansen will walk it off for us

Probably better at hitting lefties

No, Brice Turang and Sal Frelick - the two hitters who lead the team in BA - did not need the day off two days after they had one.

but they do play 6 in a row more after this.      And in this thread there is one contingency bashing the manager for not resting guys enough, and also for resting too much.    You have a 6 game lead and don't have to be desperate.  You are looking to give guys days off and the best days to do it for LHH are when the other team has a lefty on the mound.

Still, I probably hedge it a bit too and with how hot Turang has been I'd have let him roll, save him for an off day next time.        I don't know what Perkins was doing today, looks totally out of it

It eas up to Durbin and he failed

With this bottom of the order I thought “If Durbin doesn’t drive in a run they aren’t scoring.”.

He didn’t and they didn’t.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
