Looking forward to the Gasser/Miz combo, two likely starters on the 2026 team. Abbott has been pretty bad at Amfam so expect more of the same.. Brewers cruise to the 1 seed.

LOL

It's hard to...

(I'm glad someone didn't let that press conference go out to die, that was just so ridiculous)

Asking for a friend

if the brewers win these next two games does that mean we are winning the next playoff series

Truthfully, there probably is not an objective relationship between end of season vibes and NLDS success. It would seem better if the bats showed some life, though.

I think there is some of we have to turn around and play in a day.   But we have a whole week off.    I’m telling you we could throw two perfect games and win 20-0 with ten home runs these next two games and I do t think any of that carries over.

all that matter is injuries.   That’s it.   We might lose the next series because we do t have three starters right now.    And a patched up relief staff.     Not the vibes

Ashby as game three opener in NLDS? Followed by Patrick? Seems like six good innings to me 🤷‍♂️

Like the sound of that a lot more than Quintana. He performed fine to get us through regular season but he will be ROCKED in playoffs.

Hoping for the Mets to lose again today. Then if the Reds win tonight maybe they’ll take the day off tomorrow.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I'm sad that it has come to this line of thinking.  Not a rip on you at all, you are on to something for certain!

We’re going to the game tomorrow and I don’t want it to come down to the Brewers last gasp to hold on to what looked like a comfortable lead

I’d rather have it be the Reds needing a win while the Brewers have their position locked up. But I’m not counting on help from the Twins, who cashed in their chips at the trade deadline.

Milwaukee Brewers right-handed reliever The 31-year-old Trevor Megill 2.54 ERA (elbow) threw a simulated inning on Friday and is likely to come off the 15-day injured list to pitch in the regular-season finale on Sunday against the division-rival Cincinnati Reds, according to Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Megill, who should slot back in immediately as the team's closer, will be making his first appearance for the Brew Crew since Aug. 24 due to a flexor strain in his right elbow. Milwaukee wants to get him into a game situation this weekend before the playoffs begin for them on Oct. 4 in the National League Division Series. Right-hander Abner Uribe picked up Milwaukee's last save in the win over the San Diego Padres, but he'll go back to being a high-leverage setup man in the late innings with Megill returning.

as long as he doesn't have a heavy workload in game 1 and/or 2.

I like the chances of eliminating the Cubs or Padres in the postseason better if we're game enough to eliminate the Reds in the regular season.

Collins is a trainwreck in LF.  Needs to be a DH or sit in the playoffs.

He is? He does?

Help me understand why we had success with Frelick (and occasionally Turang) leading off, and in the 11th hour we decide that Yelich is our leadoff man.

Pat Murphy is the best manager in history and he wants you to know it.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

The only thing I can think of is trying to get Yelich as many at bats as possible?
