Murphy will never do it, but Yelich should be benched for Game 4. Not that it will matter.

Can't.  He's the leader of team, the face of the team, the highest paid, etc.

But man he's a liability right now.

Should have been left off the roster entirely.

Yelich just a big zero vs Dodgers.

His days are passed Brian.

I recommended last week, that we trade him (while he's still worth something to someone).

For as overmatched as we’ve been, we’ve sort of been competitive in 2 of the 3 games 🤷‍♂️

Actually, no, we haven't.

We had a chance in the 9th in game one, but we were owned for 8 innings.

Game two, no chance.

Game 3, have you been watching?  Nope, not competitive, just bad hitting as usual.

Brewers are going  to need an offensive explosion (3 runs) tomorrow to equal the pitiful 6 runs in 4 games managed in the NLDS against the Braves in 2021.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

probably come out that his back has been bothering him

The Brewer pitchers have absolutely more than held up their end of the bargain. What a time for the whole lineup to completely lose their collective mojo. But as @adambr2 said, this is not exactly a new development for the Brewers and postseason “offense,” which has really just been “offensively putrid” of late.

Aside from winning at least a couple games, I was really hoping Yelich would find something in this series, for the sake of his own Brewers legacy. At this point in his career and with his injury history, you have to wonder (and he probably wonders, too) if he’ll ever string some offensive success together in October.

Right. Always bothers him when the games finally matter.

I said we should try a couple years ago... but NT, then 10/5... and now who wants him? It'd take a WC team... not LAA. AZ MAYBE?
