My little league team would never get caught looking as much as this Brewers team. 2 strikes you gotta defend the plate. I wonder what the Brewers philosophy is?

They just aren’t very good hitters.   I don’t think there is any crazy philosophy or mentality.    At some point it’s just they aren’t very good at it

Our announcers are such aggressively stupid homers.  How many near misses have the Brewers had today?  Not many?  They've sucked consistently throughout the whole game.

I can't stand Vinny, a homer above all homers.

Do I have concerns that we're winning despite not being able to hit the ball half of our games? I'd rather not talk about it.

2nd and 3rd with nobody out in the 6th and coming away with nothing was the killer to this game.

The turning point of the entire game really boils down to the 2-0 pitch to Turang that inning. Perez had lost his command entirely and would have gone down 3-0 to Turang who chased a slider out of the zone instead. After that Brice went into swing mode and Perez buckled down and found it again.

Seriously if there was no rules against shifting infield would Yelich be hitting 100?

0 for 3 with a walk today. Our expectations of him to remain leadoff are essentially that he get on base once a game.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
