I wonder if a "best record in baseball" team has been hated by its fanbase as much as this one is.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I couldn’t give two flying bleeps about the best record in baseball.  That doesn’t mean jack crap in the playoffs.

As it stands right now, it seems like the Freddy trade was a wash. Freddy imploded in NY, Sproat is a dud for this season, and Williams hasn't really stood out and is kind of stuck in no-man's land with other promising prospects making a case for themselves.

Good job by Stallings in that inning. Fully expect Brewers to send him down after the game to maintain "roster flexibility" instead of fielding the best team.

EA Sports...It's in the game...until we arbitrarily decide to shut off the server.

Sproat was gross today no way around it

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Was just saying this, got to be one of the only lose lose trades. Both teams were worse for it

Cool story, thanks for sharing

Hey no problem, I'm here to try to educate some of you. I realize not many here thought it was a big deal they didn't get Skubal, in fact many didn't even want him, but I can assure you all the players did, and it's obvious some of you also don't understand the psychological side of baseball either. It has an effect and it's a real thing. lest we forget what happened when they traded Hader.

See ya in 2027 Sproat

I’d trade him for a box of hair in the offseason … I’m not sure I could ever cheer for him as a Brewers starter. The last several times he’s pitched, I pause my AppleTV & fast forward every few minutes until the inning is over. He makes me crazy mad.

Contreras might as well just start lighting money on fire in the batters box. His long term free agent contract is dying in front of our eyes.

Is your hairline receding?      Why the box of hair?

It’s been 4 months of this garbage and we still have people who won’t admit that Sproat just sucks.

That includes the Brewers, still hasn't been optioned. Hopefully that changes after the trade today. Trust Gasser much more.

Okay fine.  I wanted to kill my father and marry my mother.  I curled up with my stuffed animal during final exams and every time I applied for a job and didn't get it, it's because the interviewer was a stupid doo-doo head and I didn't even want that job anyways.

I'd trade Sproat for a good calzone. The calzone place I frequented in college closed up shop and isn't even in the state anymore.

There is a doll being made in my closet and I've already said too much.

I still have some hope long term, we have seen that type of turn around before, but his 2026 season is very much done (it was weeks ago IMO)

Brewers are crazy if they think Cubs aren't playing to take them out. Guy for guy after the deals they look better.

Yup. Credit to them, they are going for it.

Meanwhile, I'll take another bite of my apple.

At 65, I’m sure my hairline is receding somewhat … but “a box of hair” is worthless & Sproat is not a MLB pitcher.
