I hate these parasites. It should not be this loud there.

Which is why I'd rather play these bums at Wrigley.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

Of all the places to direct ire today Gasser should be last on the list.

Sure the hitting sucks, but Bobby Gas always seems to give up a bomb every game, no matter how well he's pitching.  And then as always after a bomb he kind of loses it. I just don't like him, he makes me nervous every single time he pitches. He doesn't have any great "out" pitches and gets out with voodoo magic

Gotta challenge that, Bill. Come on.

The team is so clueless when it comes to challenges.   Like they have no strategy behind it.   They also have little idea of the strike zone.

Gasser did his best but he’s being supported by the Brewers playoff offense.

Now the Cubs get to feast on the Brewers exhausted bullpen while Boyd coasts  along.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The calls for Contreras to challenge that pitch are exactly why the strike zone box on the broadcast is misleading.

That pitch has not been a strike the entire history of baseball. He'd literally have to be a robot to challenge it.

Brewers fans deserve the Athletics franchise. They don’t deserve to be fans of the best team in baseball

If you don't think a two strike pitch with a runner in scoring position and two outs is a great spot to challenge a close pitch, then how can you even coach them on when to challenge or not challenge?

I guess we see now why they were banging a drum or whatever it was in spring training because they must have known they were going to be horrible at challenging if they didn't get audio cues.

ABS does not care about the entire history of baseball.

Contreras has also challenged a lot more questionable ones than that.

Good point, but the very best catchers have adjusted to that:  challenging the often-taken up and away corner of the box is what separates the good from the average.

Cool, go root for the Athletics then and we won’t have to interact with you every day.

I mean you’re not wrong.  They will challenge a close pitch in first inning with nobody on but won’t when it’s really important.
