Bump…

SRO experience? I’d love to take my son again, but not sure $200+ each for terrace tickets is in the cards. Also not sure a short 12 year old could really take in the game well with SRO tickets.

I have been to quite a few stadiums and not a big fan of SRO at AmFam. It is okay during the regular season as can always find seats. However, during the playoffs that doesn't really work. I like the railing down the RF line if you can get it. An area by the bullpen/restaurant in LF as well. I don't know what they do during the playoffs but sat in some nice chairs in the X Golf area Summer 2025 for free.

Am Fam is horrible for SRO. Especially postseason. Just not enough spots and the good places will be like going to Coachella or something (bring a diaper to wear and never move).

My coworker took his son to G1 SRO.  They looked at apps like StubHub to see what tickets are still available and went and sat in those seats.  It was up in the 400’s but at least it wasn’t SRO.

Looking around online tonight, just out of curiosity. If Cleveland hangs on tonight, the Brewers will be the only team that sells out all (or any) of its LCS games. There are thousands and thousands of tickets remaining in Cleveland, Tampa and LA.

Rays and Indians both Bottom 10 in attendance. For the Dodgers these are darn near regular season games for them at this point.

Demand for Brewers tickets is definitely quite high this year though. Secondary prices seem pretty steep compared to years past. Before the season was done I was told you had to spend $5k on 2027 tickets to have a guaranteed chance at WS tickets for this year.

Got an email for WS tix going on sale at 10am. Jumped on at that time, $1100 for Terrace, $1300 for outfield bleachers, $1600 for 200 and 300.

I'm so angry I'm shaking.

I am just stunned, sad, angry. I am not cheap. I go to spring training, have a partial season ticket, paid good money for the first four home games of the DS and CS. But I cannot believe what I saw when I went to buy tickets today.image.jpeg.728fc3d17d3f2ff303502c979195f8a0.jpeg

One ticket for game 1, club level.

4 tickets, Terrace level, $5k.

RF bleachers, one seat, game 1.

Madness.

It definitely sucks. And it's totally MLB's fault. They collect on the World Series and try to recoup as much as they can because they're obligated by the CBA to give 60% of gate receipts to the players for the first 4 games.

MLB still sets prices for those games.

Team's don't have control of their ticket prices in the postseason or are you saying just for the WS?

I was expecting $500-700 for terrace, that's pretty wild.

I get that it's the demand-based pricing endgame for the most coveted sporting event in the history of the state of Wisconsin. But still...

If Tampa wins I wonder if the smart move will be to see the games there instead, but then again there are a million Brewers fans in Florida and MLB is setting those prices also.

They have a heavier hand in setting the WS prices because they have to give 60% to the players for first 4 games.

That's why the prices escalate so substantially.

Because all I've seen is MLB gives the Brewers a range then the Brewers set the prices.

So the Brewers do demand based and then release a handful of tickets at a time to jack up the prices.

Considering the Brewers postseason tickets page (https://www.mlb.com/brewers/tickets/postseason) still says World Series tickets will be available at a later date, are we sure we're seeing the prices they'll be once they're more widely available?

Or do some people on this site have early access and are seeing the face values for these? I'm in Baltimore, so I'm not a Wisconsin resident or a season ticket package holder, so I'm trying to figure out if I should be expecting to pay $1500 per seat and should grab them now or if I should wait and keep an eye on things over the next few days.

SSH presale started today. General public will be Thursday per ticket rep emails.

I posted the screen caps of the prices from the advanced sale above, are you saying that as they become available to the general public that prices will go down? So that the Brewers are raising prices on the season ticket holders but will lower them for the general public? That seems messed up.

This is older, but the CBA hasn't changed in this respect so it's still relevant: "MLB sets ticket prices for the World Series for all ballparks"

https://blogs.fangraphs.com/divvying-up-postseason-ticket-revenue/

There is some demand based maneuvering by the teams, but it's all within the parameters established by MLB which is obligated by the CBA to distribute 60% to the players. World Series is their best opportunity to supercharge the prices and recoup as much as they can, hence the $1000+ for the 400 level.

I would expect the same prices for general public sale.

This is gonna be a tough choice...ugh. I know there are more than enough people willing to pay $1500 to fill the remaining seats 4 times.

Thanks! No, I can only find tickets on SeatGeek, etc., right now, so I was confirming that others had early access for face value seats. Since that sounds like what you're showing, I wouldn't expect tickets to go down.

If that wasn't what you were showing, and people were just seeing the same stuff I'm seeing on secondary market sites, I was hoping the actual face value tickets would end up being lower, and once those were available, then the secondary market would adjust lower as well, but it doesn't sound like that's the case.
