Bauers and Ashby should be CO-MVPs imo...

Could make a case for Contreras, too. Honestly there’s 3 or 4 guys who would have been deserving.

Love the sweep. The way it had to happen! That was for all NL teams!

we became instant Brewers fans 23 years ago in Spring Training because AmFam Fields of PHX is near our home. We’ve met the best people - Wisconsinite Brewers Fans - every spring. They deserve all of this and the WS is next.

so happy for Milwaukee, and we’re loving being Brewers fans in the desert!

Grazie.

I was thinking about you two weeks ago when my wife & I were traveling in Italy, wondering what part of the country you were in. We were in Rome, then in the Le Marche region, then back near Rome in & around Frascati.

Go Brewers!

Shutting ‘em out over the final 7 1/3 innings in their own place is simply incredible.

A much deserved World Series that I couldn’t allow myself to really believe would ever happen after falling short in 2018.

And I’d long since accepted that Hamilton simply can’t hit, at least not in 2026. So when we pinch hit Sanchez (RHH) to face RHP Mason Miller in NLDS Game 2, it simply made sense to me. Boy did Bunty prove me wrong!

Now please rest that golden Ashby arm.

Thank you Brewers!! Let’s Go!!!!!!!!!!!

This wasn't just a one guy getting hot and carrying the team on his shoulders type of run. This was an ultimate team win. Here's the best part. The majority of this postseason roster has 3 years or less of service time. There's building blocks for a long run in the pipeline. And there's some excellent talent already on board.

Lost in the excitement was that was a damn good play by Chourio to end the game.    That wasn’t routine

Also.    A terrible 0-2 pitch by Ashby.   😀😀😀

Money Gold GIF

Good for him but I really hope he is never invited back for any ceremonial things. I'm sure he will be, but he can get lost for all I care. This is not Mike Holmgren, Brett Favre or Giannis. This is a guy who chose to go to their biggest rival not when things were being rebuilt, but in the midst of their ascension for yes, money, but also because he "knew" it was an easier path to winning with more money to blow. At least on the diamond, he's gotten exactly what he deserves.

Little did he know it would indeed be a much bigger challenge in Chicago than Milwaukee.

The fan they show going crazy in a popcorn shower when the walk tied the game up, none other than Mrs. Bauers.

I don’t dislike Counsell.

At the time when he went to the Cubs, my thought was, sucks to be the Cubs.  I thought at the time and still do that he is not a good playoff manager.  So I was ready to move on.

Didn’t realize how good Murph would be though!

Had you told me back in June the Brewers were going to win the pennant and Miz and Harrison were going to pitch a combined 3.1 innings in the series (without a successful trade deadline) I would have been so confused.

Two thoughts on series

1.   Indians are a worst team than rays but their stadium will rock and the weather could suck

2. rays are a better team but it will be indoors and there will be a lot of brewer fans in that stadium.

who do you want

I've been on the Uecker Series bandwagon.

I want Milwaukee vs Cleveland to pit Uecker's real team vs his hollywood team

Yep!

This didn’t go according to anyone’s script.

There was one game (GM 2 of NLDS, I think) that I was so stressed that I didn’t watch the end.  After that game I just decided to sit back and enjoy the ride (good, bad, or other)

Murphy has something Counsell never got; a pennant. Since only pennant-winning managers earn a spot on the Wall of Honor, Murphy’s day is coming. Counsell’s isn’t.

.. also our trade deadline would be a general flop and Sproat, Patrick, Woodruff, and Drohan** wouldn't pitch.

What on earth.

Woof.  I could tell you some stories that would change your mind on that.
