World Series Game 2, Rays (Rasmusssen) vs Brewers (Henderson): 10/24/26, 7:00pm

What’s the decision? Are we going with blander, blender, blinder, blonder or blunder?  Or bander, bender, binder, binder or bunder?

[Cool Hand Lucroy]

Given Henderson's struggles on throwing to first against the Dodgers, I fully expect the Rays to go full bore on trying to steal bases. Contreras' current form might damper that somewhat, but I don't expect it to be the case. The Rays feel like a commit to the bit team.

Hoping Logan can stay within himself and remember that old baseball truism: you can't steal first base.

Dodgers and Padres should felt fine after geme 1 as well until…

Played a blinder is some British term.   Should have used it for the cricket World Series

So to sum it up…….pressure was on Brewers last night…….now it’s on the Rays.

This whole frustrated by lack of offense narrative is strange to me.

1 it’s hard to score in the postseason

2 in the Dodgers series we scored 6 or more in 3 of the 4 games…..

I mean it’s not supposed to be easy……we are playing a 98 win team that is a mirror image of the Brewers in many ways.

We are 8-1 in the postseason now……that’s pretty damn impressive.

Jean Segura disagrees with this statement.

[Brewers Downunder]

Righto lads. Same as yesterday only better.

Let's go to Tampa 2-0 up.

[long ball]

I’m probably not the first to mention this, but game 1s this playoffs have all been tightly contested 1 run games. This one feels even more like the NLCS since we are going up against the opponents unbeatable playoff SP.

I think we just keep finding a way to win much like we have all season.
