Bucks were 17 of 34 from three land tonight. You're going to be really hard to beat when you're shooting from downtown at 50%. Lopez was 8 of 13. Bucks are really mixing it up with some tough competition on this road trip and really looking good.

NBA Point Differentials

1- Milwaukee Bucks (+11.9)

2- Golden State Warriors (+11.1)

3- Toronto Raptors (+9.8)

4- Portland Trailblazers (+9.7)

5- Charlotte Hornets (+7.4)

6- Denver Nuggets (+6.4)

7- Los Angeles Clippers (+4.6)

8- Indiana Pacers (+2.7)

The Bucks have played the other top 7 teams that have the highest point differential (5-2). They have also had the toughest schedule in the NBA so far this year. The talking heads are still saying Raptors, Celtics, now Sixers. Keep sleeping....

It won’t take long. All the Bucks needed was real coaching.

Just let those bad contracts expire and we might have something. They do have a big decision with Middleton though.

And their opponent shot 47% from three, almost going toe-to-toe with them. Takes quite a performance to beat a team that shoots 47% from three.

Bucks Trade Rumor

Coach Bud like Kyle Kover-probably the best pure shooter outside Golden State, he has other flaws.

Kover $7.5/2 years

JR Smith 14.5/2 years

for

Delly $9.5/2 years

Snell 10.5/3 years

S Brown 1.5

or

Wilson 2.5

It would get rid of 3 years of Snell for 2 years of Smith and give Coach Bud another shooting assassin. Maybe add a 2nd rounder? Would Cleveland do this. Smith has been a team problem this year and the change would do Cleveland and him some good.

I'd argue Snell is better than both of those guys. Korver is 37 and can barely guard a traffic cone these days.

Defense notwithstanding, the only real difference between Snell and Korver is that fans have accepted Korver won't light up the stat sheet each night.

Watching the Bucks on ESPN and is it just me or does Doris Burke just sound absolutely horrible calling a game. It is like she is completely bored and uninterested in the game. No excitement at all in her voice. Ben Stein has more excitement in his voice than she does.

That is true, maybe it is just reporters trying to make something out of nothing. I do now Coach Bud loved Korver in ATL.

I'm ignoring the first half last night :)

That third quarter was ridiculous. 46 points? Bucks might score 160 this year at some point.

It was nice not seeing the Bucks panicking after being down by so much in the first half. The continued to play their game and waited for the Bulls to cool down which they did. The Bulls were shooting incredibly hot in the first half especially from the 3. They cooled off in the 3rd and the Bucks got hot in the 3rd. Middleton couldn't even buy a bucket in the 1st and then started to get going in the later part of the 2nd.

Gotta clear some salary to keep even 2 of Middleton, Bledsoe, Brogdon, and Lopez together, let alone all 4 of them. Arguably the second-best starting 5 in the NBA right now.

Smith and Korver are only guaranteed about $7.3m next season. It would be a pipe dream to get rid of Snell and Dellavedova for that. All the wasteful spending several years ago has made guys like Smith and Korver much more valuable in trades because so many teams are looking to clear salary.

Also, Snell is a dime-a-dozen type of 3-and-d guy right now. His defense is extremely overrated because he's only good as a 1-on-1 defender against guys who don't have a huge quickness advantage. He's not versatile enough to guard quick guards or small-ball 4's, and he's not a smart, alert team defender. He's also not good at actively seeking 3-point opportunities and getting into open passing lanes to help out guys like Giannis when they're doubled. He just passively stands behind the arc and hits over 40% of his 3's precisely because he gets the easy, open ones, and only those. And other than his solid 1-on-1 man defense and good shooting on easy 3's, he's an absolutely terrible basketball player. One of the worst ball-handlers and rebounders at sf I've seen in my entire life.

Even at his age, Korver creates extra 3-point opportunities above and beyond the ones any scrub with a decent jumper would get in this offense. He's also a much more astute team defender than Snell, and that's more important than 1-on-1 defense in this day and age.

First game I was able to see all season and I figured they were going to flop. But the 3rd quarter was pretty amazing. They just had their way with the Bulls in that quarter. And it wasn't any one player, but everyone was contributing.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Well said. We will see what happens.

Call me crazy but I like these yellow/red unis. :p

Watching Snell pass up wide open three opportunities is really just super frustrating. I think I've seen 2 or 3 in just this game where he's got 5 or 6 feet of wide open space with the ball in hand, and he passes up the shot to pass away. I've bagged and bagged on the guy, but I'd love to see them trade him and Dele away for a bucket of Dippin' Dots.

Oh man, those unis are hideous...

Is there a significance to these eyesores?

Something to do with the mecca floor. Didnt really catch the explanation.

They are actually pretty spot on.

This is a special team.

Edit: just saw OldSchoolSnapper posted the exact same thing

I can't remember another WI team that could steamroll good opponents like this...maybe the 90s Packers at their peak but that's it.

Scoring 140 with semi-regularity against Western Conference contenders. On the nights they shoot well they push 150 seemingly with ease.

I randomly stumbled across this the other day; this guy's videos are extremely good.

Granted Portland was on the back end of a back to back but still....they are arguably the second best team in the West and the Bucks beat them by 43.

When Bledsoe wants to play hard on both ends he is a really good player. Hes been doing that for most of the season, and a big part of their success.

More than anything though, its a team playing with confidence.

I think he always wants to. I just don't think his knees cooperate. Kidd rode his best players extremely hard last year and I think we saw Bledsoe wear down at the end of the year. He's built like an NFL tailback and he plays like one, so it's important to limit his minutes and not invest too much in him after age 30, but he's a good player.
