This is incredibly arrogant from a member of the Reds ownership group...

Here's the audio of Castellini's interview...

Not just “at Night” anymore.

It's never good look when the first question is "Was that an Onion article"

Well was it an Onion article?

I really wish the Brewers would have been able to get Suzuki this off season.  He hit 2 HR's today and is now leading the NL with 3 HR's.

Early in the season but it is looking like Suzuki was the best off season signing so far.

Apparently Yu Darvish sucks now without Caritini there. 1.2 IP 9 ER tonight

Good thing Darvish signed with the Cubs and not the Brewers.  I will take old man Cain any day over Darvish.

The Padres cried about the Giants continuing to try to score runs in a 9 run game today, despite the fact that end of season ties are now decided by run differential instead of a game 163.  Kapler also said he's going to do what he can to use up an opposing team's arms for the rest of the series.

I'm all for these unwritten (and very dumb) rules just going by the wayside.  Like Kylo Ren said.  "Let the past die.  Kill it if you have to".

I saw the comments and allegations concerning former Cardinals Manager, Mike Schildt. Is it possible he was jettisoned because he wasn't classy enough?

I'm not really a fan of running up an already-unbeatable differential in a game but completely agree that unwritten rules are just boring and awful. While I groan when I see someone do what Kapler did, I also don't get worked up about it. When a game gets to that point, I mostly want it to be over both because it's a bad game and because injuries are less likely to happen if, you know, nobody is actually on the field and/or trying very hard...

But again, who cares that much anyway? Get over yourself, baseball history and "tradition".

Totally tone deaf things to say but the Reds spent money and "tried" and it failed miserably. Getting rid of their overpaid mediocre players is the first step in the right direction.

Defending World Series Champion Atlanta Braves have scored 3 runs or less in 5 of their first 7 games & are currently getting shut out 9-0 tonight.

Don’t blame the new guy!! Matt Olson has a 229 OPS+ so far & 2 of Atlanta’s 4 hits tonight.

Weird. It's almost as if that while the first few games of a baseball season count, they may not matter a lot in how the team will perform going forward.

I wonder if their GM went out and did everything they could to improve the team obviously they didn't because of how the team is performing!!!!!!!

They should have signed Castellanos, Bryant, and returned Freeman and also got Olson!!!!!!! Also bottom of the barrel scraping Manny Pina is the worst signing evah!

Just doing a wellness check on Minnesota Twins fans. It was an exciting end to the off-season. Twins batters haven’t gotten on-base (last in MLB) and Minnesota pitching has actually issued more walks per game than Milwaukee.

Not saying this to jinx anyone or anything. Just curious because if any fan base was gripping things any tighter last week than Brewer fans, I figure it would be Twins fans.

Oh, Twins twitter is burning itself to the ground but reasonable Twins fans realize that the weather was truly abominable for those first six games and the true talent of the team is still very much up in the air.

Baseball really needs to push back Opening Day to mid-April again. Playing early April games in northern climates is just garbage, there's a reason why MLB used to start games some time around tax day. There is literally snow on the ground in Minneapolis right now.

That was to the Padres.  Who when up 7-0 proceeded to score 5 more runs.  Padres coaches better be throwing at hitters during batting practice otherwise they will never play the game the right way.

That is why the Brewers almost never started the season at home when they played at County Stadium.  The original home opener for us this year would have been March 31.  The game would have gone on with the roof, but we would have tailgated under the snow that day.

This, to me is infuriating:

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/umpire-missed-whopping-27-calls-210544185.html

While missing that many calls is mind blowing, the part of it that makes me angry the most is that absolutely nothing will happen to him.  He won't be forced to improve.  His job will not be in jeopardy if he doesn't improve. There is no motivation for him to improve.  Just total and complete job security.
