Huh. Hmmm. Now, I wonder if Uribe would have pitched the seventh, on place of a Peguero pitching back to back after hurriedly getting warmed up last night, where this game would be…No matter, Craig had his plan.

Rowdy has been fine since he's been back.    But i'd have stuck with Turang there since it's still L/R.   Really reduces the DP and he seems to be adequate at making contact which is all you needed there.   Of course Rowdy just hitting a fly ball to right shouldn't have been hard either which is probably what CC was thinking.  Basically, he fatty this is the time to go for the HR if you get it great if not its a R, just don't rollover for a DP.

I honestly trust Turang more there. At least the odds of him hitting into a DP are far less than Rowdy. Oh well.

Hell, you could try a safety squeeze or something.

Are we going to lose two of three to the hapless Pirates while pitching our three best starters?

What does that tell us about this team?

I’m so unimpressed by their ability to win series against poor teams

You would never know that we are in a pennant race

Embarrasing

Here come the Cubbies - God forbid

It says 3 things;

1. We can't hit.

2.We can't hit.

3.We can't hit.

Contreras trying to hit one 5 miles wasn’t the best idea when a walk would have put the tying run in scoring position.

But I guess after that last “strike” you never know how Bucknor would have called the ball 4 that he swung at.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

He drew a walk.
