I say just rest everyone.    From here on out.    We can get 9-10 guys on the forum here to pitch tomorrow and Sunday.    We can work around mowing the lawn with everyone

I can give you a couple of innings.

Everybody should have a moment like that once in their life

Yep he's now officially in the record book and they can never take that away.

A few weeks ago I dreamed of this scenario for this series - Brewers getting geared up for the playoff series and casually snuff the Cub playoff chances out to end the regular season.

It just doesn't get any better - tomorrow will be a fun night at the ballpark

Legit tears in my eyes

Me too. I feel so dumb. That guy is me. Milwaukee born and raised, dreamed about playing for the Brewers. I was a finesse pitcher - had a nasty curve. Obviously my dream never came true, but whenever I see one of these guys make their debuts - especially this kid (almost 30-year-old kid) who is a Brewer through and through, I just feel so happy for them.

Team is so bad, they couldn’t even get losing on purpose right.

The cubs have to be embarrassed.   The brewers basically said here you can have it.    And they still choked it

Because he makes mistakes and does things that dont make sense doesn't mean he's Jerry Royster. People here think you have to be either a Counsell apologist or hate him. Not so. If he asked Turang to bunt then took it off for some reason to bounce into the million dp of the season is dumb. That's it. 😀

That’s not what you said though. You said you hope the playoffs aren’t going to be a showcase for his idiotic managing decisions. I don’t think we have to worry about being out managed in the postseason. CC will make mistakes because nobody is perfect, but he is no idiot. He’s the best manager in baseball.

I’m from New London which is right next to Hortonville.  Both incredibly small towns.   To see a guy from Hortonville fulfilling his dream and pitching at home for his childhood team is just too much.  It’s so incredibly cool.

a side note which has zero relevance- he is the cousin to my cousins husband.

What a moment for Boushley. He pitched so well. Absolutely deserved to finish that game with a positive outcome. Seeing how excited the team got for him was awesome. Vibes are in a great place after a win like today heading into the playoffs.

Yes! Caratini almost jumped out of his cleats with the last strikeout!

Awesome stuff. Brewers in the playoffs. Cardinals in the trash. Cubs collapsing. Beautiful.

Mets and SD trash with huge payrolls.

I pitched in high school, I can probably break out my 85 mph heater one more time for the good of the team.
