Most oF the position players besides Churio were absolute crap. So was Murphy

What in the hell more could you have asked from Murphy?

I cannot believe that just happened

trade Williams for a bunch of guys.    Closers are pointless if they can’t finish a game like this.     We saw that with hader

We'll have a better lineup next year. But this one really hurts.

How so?

Everybody please remember you have people that love you and that getting mad or making bad choices after watching millionaires play a silly unfair game is not worth it. I want to see everyone back here for some more misery next spring and not posting from prison.

Peace.

Our All-Star closer just blew our entire season in 1 inning when we were certain we were about to advance. Seems like a really weird time for this. This isn't some random game on August 19th.

Dude can shove it up his ass

Man oh man - the punishment of being a Brewer fan all of these years - My fondest memory is still 1982!

I was born in 1983… still waiting.  This is the biggest gut punch loss I can remember, maybe cuz it’s fresh.

I guess I'll cheer for the Padres. They were the first team I ever loved... When they were AAA.  I'll be back for the Crew, because being a New Orleans Saints fan I seem to crave suffering and heartbreak.

Devin gave up 3 ER during the regular season. Just gave up 4 in the playoffs.

He didn't have it. He couldn't locate the heater. Tough night.

Obviously 95% of this falls on Devin but the Brewers had multiple chances to add runs in this game and failed over and over again with RISP like we've seen so many times this season.

They left themselves with very little margin for error in the 9th and it was enough margin for Devin to blow it.

OK, I can say it now.

Are you catching on as to why the 1982 team is so revered and celebrated? It's because that team is the closest we'll ever come to a championship.

No, it's still ******* stupid,

No, I haven't either...and then I look at the numbers and I think it's gotta be just me.

But it doesn't matter. Hader blew a couple, Williams...

Gonna take Chourio to bail our asses out.

Think there's a difference between regular season and postseason sadly, some guys don't have it and this isn't the first time our postseason has fallen apart in some part due to him.

I'd say I'd have no heart left, but if we find ourselves in this spot next year, I'll be feeling the same.

We'll always have the Chuorio game (and the many more to follow)!

I don't know quite know how to feel. On the one hand, what a season. On the other, what an awful ending. It feels worse when you feel like you have something to lose.

But, well, it always hurts to end it. Glad to be here with you all all year. Baseball is never about the end. It goes round and round. Learn from it, and we'll be back.

Murphy was fine.

No one could come up with a big AB when we had multiple scoring chances with runners in scoring position and then Devin choked. Not much else to it.

0 for nine with RISP

My consolation is that I really think the Brewers would have been overmatched by the Phillies with their strong SP and All Star batting order.

But, after the most improbable back to back HRs you’ll ever see I was dreaming about another week of games and the chance for an upset.
