Nolan Arenado is not in the lineup for Monday’s game.

Arenado could potentially be on the move to a contender ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, but there hasn’t been a ton of buzz on that front quite yet. It’ll be rookie Thomas Saggese taking over at the hot corner in this one.

I’m sure the players would have no issues with lower concessions…….unless of course it cost them any money.

its funny……when players become owners………Michael Jordan……Magic Johnson…..perspective changes.

I'm sure Mark would greet Yelich telling him to lower concession prices with immediate action. It's funny, we'll never see it because owners are too old to actually be the product but if they suddenly became players.......perspective change.

Helsley to the Mets

Ouch to my 2 fantasy teams that have him as one of my closers.

There are professional sports teams that charge reasonable prices for their concessions and don’t overprice the crap out of them, and they’ve actually found great financial success.

Don't mistake that for a passionate defense of ownership greed. I just don't see where the players have any percent responsibility as was said elsewhere.

#9, #16 and #17 ranked prospects from the Mariners. Very very basic comparison but these are the same ranked prospects on the Brewers.

Dinges, Boeve and Antunez.

Dang. I definitely would have been willing to pay that.

Yes, but even assuming we were involved it could just be they liked the choices the Mariners offered better. Still, no top 100 prospect, we could have outbid them if we wanted.

Posting this because his name was tossed around here for a while:

The Astros are acquiring infielder Ramón Urías from the Orioles, according to The New York Post’s Jon Heyman

Urías makes a ton of sense for Houston as a temporary stopgap solution at the hot corner with Isaac Paredes (hamstring) appearing likely to miss the remainder of the regular season. The 31-year-old infielder is hitting .248/.300/.388 with eight homers, 34 RBI and two steals in 290 plate appearances over 77 games this season for the Orioles.

For sure. National prospect rankings are not the opinions of FOs. Just grasping for some sort of point of reference.

Reds tie the game 11 - 11 after being down 11 - 3 in the 8th.  Everyone hitting.

Exciting game to watch.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

I turned it off after it was 8-3 in the 8th.  Mrs. Samurai had mentioned there were snowmen by each team.  MLB had the full 8th inning posted on YouTube.  Crazy!

The Rockies have won their World Series!

Seriously, insane game though.  Pittsburgh scored 9 in the top of the 1st.  They were up 15-6 in the middle of the 5th, 16-10 mid-8, and 16-12 going to the 9th.

There have been some wild games lately. Normally the 13-12 Marlins/Yankees game would have easily been the craziest of the night.

I hope nobody gets hurt at the Bristol game. It looks terrible— even more so in 4k.

Players or fans? Just curious, what in particular looks terrible?
