Erick, from all the loud Brewers dugout celebrations, will become Earache!

We are Ready for Fedde!

Priester will knock another team on its Kiester!

Austin Riley left today's game due to injury and is possibly looking at an IL stint and of course Acuna is already on the IL.  Atlanta is all beat up, particularly their pitching staff.

Fox 6 Sports Tim Van Vooren reports the Brewers 56 hits vs Washington set a new franchise record for the most hits in a three-game span. It is also almost the most hits by a National League team in a three-game series since the Brooklyn Dodgers tallied 57 hits against the Pittsburgh Pirates back in 1950 when Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Gil Hodges, and Pee Wee Reese played. Were seeing history in the making Brewer fans. a bowl of green apples with the words " how you like them apples "

who knew we would all be looking forward to Quinn Priester starts?!?

rainy day in the ATL though. I’m predicting a rainout today and a DH on Wednesday.

Actually it is to rain there tomorrow also, there may be two games to make up.

Yeah, we've had major drop in temps the last few days here in ATL and it's come with rain and gloomy days (I'll take it over 95+ degree days, though).

I'd love to go to a game, but bad timing - youngest just started school today.

Reminder to some folks that Fedde was one of the prizes of the deadline last year and he was DFAd under a year later.   But hey, at least STL was trying to win unlike the Brewers

Just saw an interview with Collins……apparently his wife is due with their first child in 11 days.

So something to keep, in mind as we will probably lose him for a few days.

Has anyone seen anything new on Frelick?

The last I saw was that the Brewers are looking at “long term solutions” for his knee problem but for now he is just resting it.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Sal Frelick (knee) remains out of the lineup for Monday’s series opener against Atlanta.
Frelick will sit out his second straight game after exiting Saturday’s contest against the Nationals with left knee soreness. It doesn’t appear to be a significant concern since he hasn’t been placed on the injured list after a couple days. It’ll be rookie Brandon Lockridge taking over in right field once again on Monday evening.

The concern right now should be position player depth, both infield and outfield.

Yup not grabbing a Castro type depth piece is the one deadline I think most could agree on that should've been done.  Hopefully doesn't come back to bite them

He was also a trendy rotoball player that year. He was not terrible in Chicago  just did not live up to the hype.

Well, congrats to the Collins' first and foremost.

We start the 5-gamer against the baby bears on the 18th. Selfishly hope to haye him back for that.

If we are down Chourio (almost assuredly), Frelick (maybe), and Collins (for a few days), that means the OF is down to Lockridge, Perkins, and Yelich and whoever they call up. Not that Bauers is a favorite of mine, but he has played some OF - haven't seen any updates on him lately

Now that Brewers media has finally started the Collins for NL ROY push, Murphy is doing his part by sitting Durbin to not split the vote.
