Jack & Aram have always been the highest on the Brewers system and ahead of the curve even going as far as a couple of years ago naming them with the 3rd best 5-year future in all of baseball just behind large-market team’s LAD & Boston.

Some think they over-hype and are the polar-opposite of Longenhagen and there is some merit with that opinion but they have been pretty darn accurate in predicting the greatness of the Brewers system as a whole.

Brendan Gawlowski mentioned Frias as a player who has his attention when asked about standout or pop ups in the FCL/ACL

Scratch your Frias, Martinez, and Matos itch by listening to the great James Anderson, along with wonderful Alex Jensen, during the latest Rotowire Fantasy Baseball Podcast. Listen as they breakdown some of the young breakouts in the ACL/DSL. They spend a minute or two on each guy.

Jensen is a big fan of Juan Martinez's offensive traits. With Alexander Frias, he sees a great tool kit, but wants more airside pull. And both guys are very intrigued with Leanders Matos, putting him on their watchlists going forward.

Frias associated with a very fun name in BA's roboscout article today. For reference Florentino is currently the #18 prospect in baseball according to BA

AUDIO via "Foul Territory" (Apple Podcast): "Brewers prospect Andrew Fischer is a must-listen guest on FT! This was a great one! Fischer talks with hosts Todd Frazier (a fellow New Jersey guy), Erik Kratz and Scott Braun about his journey to pro ball, what life looks like inside the Brewers system, if he’s concerned about his strikeout rate, and how minor league baseball compares to the college game."

Here's the Spotify link for those who prefer that medium.

This was a great listen! He addresses the big concerns about him with excellent answers. In a nutshell, the Brewers want him testing the limits of his swing. Highly recommend listening for more than just that in his answers. He also gets into having different tools or essentially adjustments and to no surprise Adamczewski is one who really dwells on that.

Have to agree. Fischer sounds like what he looks like- high energy guy and super positive.  Talks up his team mates. I love how he avoids the obvious trap question about if HS players excluded from draft can college ball really develop them -but he goes into a very detailed response on the different ways both programs (college and milb) prepare and develop- in short in college you have to be on or you lose playing time so you get better by competition, but milb has a more nuanced long view of player development (duh, right?) but his answers helped me know why some players seem to “struggle “ at times when it may be part of the instruction or process they are provided.  So a team may congratulate a player on a 0-4 night with 3 Ks because of the approach. And how much more difficult routines are in milb with only 1 day off. He is also obviously impressed with Wisconsin facility, and while he is likely not impressed with Biloxi - he answered in such a professional way that I think I could tell he was unimpressed but you would not really know based on the answer he provided. I hope he continues to be successful along with his Shuckers mates as that club could be the foundation of a ~ 2028 club if all goes well. Again could being the operative word given injuries, trades and the biedergb jinx

MLB Pipeline was updated. Lara jumped up 20 spots to 69, Adamczewski is on the list now at 97, Jett dropped into the 80s are the notable Brewer changes.

Lara seems about right to me, I understand the big drop by Jett too. Thought Pena would fall more.

But Fischer not being on the list is inconceivable to me.

The strikeout rate given how little time he has had in the minors isn't enough of an issue to offset the crazy in game power he has shown especially since he hasn't missed a step in AA.

Not surprised on Pena or Jett. Jett hasnt lived up to expectations this year so far and Pena's injuries arent the type that affect prospect status, while the numbers are still very positive for his age.

Fischer and Payne should be getting more love. Would they be off the list if they were on the Dodgers?

With Dinges, the write-up felt like the drop from some of the other rankings had more to do with questions about whether his build is conducive to the grind of being an everyday catcher than being lower on his play or talent.

Wow... this is old, but I feel like it's just as valid now as it ever has been.

Dinges catching everyday(or even 70% of the time=Top 50 prospect.
Dinges as a DH... MAYBE a corner OFer=Organizational depth.

I hope he can get healthy. He changes the outlook if he can become an average defensive catcher.

Brendan Gawlowski said Tyson Hardin will get a long look for the Top 100 in their next update in his chat today.

Nope. He's at the lower levels and is a finesse pitcher(unless he's gone from 9.8 to 10K per 9).

That's awesome. Has to be a very difficult field for a women to break into(like being an NFL coach or any male dominated field like this).

That said... I'm a little torn. A women? Cool. Not going to say much about our scouting right now. All cylinders are firing...

But a Ginger?

I won't give the writeups but here is the generic order. I am guessing Josh Norris really liked what he saw in Frias to be this aggressive.

1. Made

19. Pena

43. Pratt

47. Lara

64. Henderson

78. Adamczewski

88. Payne

95. Jett WIlliams

100. Alexander Frias
