Less than 24 hours until Opening Day! 

The Brewers took two of three from the White Sox last year.

Shane Smith allowed 6 hits, 3 walks, 3 R, 1 ER over 5 IP last year against Milwaukee.

Only Austin Hays has an AB against Jacob Misiorowski, singling off of Miz as a member of the Reds.

It will be interesting to watch Shane Smith's development this season. Smith started out strong, had a rough June and July before finishing the year on a high note. Walks will likely remain a concern.

Im guessing we see bauers in LF and Chourio in CF today. Misiorowski being a high strike out guy kinda allows a weaker defense. Let Bauers cook.

Very frustrating end and now beginning of season for Chourio. From hamstring to hand. Hope he heals up quick but I was really looking forward to seeing him hit a full seasons worth.

It's going to be Mitchell the majority of the time. Will see what happens and if they stick with him.

Well that’s a bummer. I guess we will probably see a lot of Bauers in LF then to start the year. Then a mix of the other guys in CF

Against a RHP I'm assuming Mitchell and Bauers in the outfield... but maybe they tip their cap to Lockridge, who knows.

Bummer of a thing to wake up to. Heal up quick young man! Thankful that we have a spring training Barry Bonds to replace him for a few weeks..

It will be interesting to see how the playing time works out at 3b. Hamilton getting the start today against the righty. Rengifo is a switch hitter but better from the right. I don’t think it’ll be a straight platoon, but hopefully at least one of them will hit a bit.

If you include the 11-1 loss for the home opener (which I had erased from my memory until now) it was the worst 4 game start in MLB history by run differential (-32).
