Our game starts an hour before the cubs/braves.

if we win, we could be waiting an hour or so to see if tonight’s clinch night.

we’ve built up a pretty decent buffer between us and Atlanta so a top 2 seed is looking highly likely at this point.

Megill hasn't pitched in a whole week, last two outings against Cubs he gave up first HR of year and first runs in like a month. Have to wonder, was this week just rest or is he going through something.

Probably moreso a mix of two off days and lack of save situations.

Which gives us the two greatest things in baseball life:  a bye and not having to face the Dodgers until the NLCS.

After Payton Tolle's immaculate inning the other day, I wonder if Miz has that on his radar. I feel like the Pirates offer a good opportunity so long as Miz doesn't overthrow and miss the zone.

Don’t count those chickens just yet. Remember the 1964 Phillies (for Braves magic #).

Watching the Packers on Sunday really gave me a new appreciation for how well this organization is run. Go Brewers.

I like Lara over Frelick as the default choice in RF. Neither is hitting all that well, so Lara’s insane glove is the tiebreaker.

That said, it would be good to see him start hitting a little more to make it an easier choice.

5-6 strong out of Miz would be fine. Not the time of year to push him.

Crazy how that game got away so quickly.

Take points off the board and sit back and watch how it blows up in your face. Almost never fails.

I was deeply concerned that the Packers OL would be terrible against the blitz happy Flores defense … but it was far worse than I anticipated. I can’t believe Jordan Love survived. One of the worst position group performances I’ve witnessed in all my years of watching professional sports. I’m not confident it will improve moving forward. Not sure LaFluer is a leader of men.

More messing around with the lineup I see...I'd love to see Pancakes lineup process.  Does he sit down and just try to come up with things he hasn't tried before, does he chuckle to himself as he figures out a new lineup, or does he actually laugh out loud and pat himself on the back for coming up with today's list?

Bauers has such a beautiful swing. I wonder if he is another Justin Turner … a big leaguer who figured things out at age 30 & had several excellent offensive seasons. I hate to see him depart. Not sure the abrewers will attempt to re-sign him though.
