2021-06-30: Cubs (Arrieta) at Brewers (Ashby) [Brewers win, 15-7 -- Cubs score 7 in 1st inning; Crew responds with 15 unanswered]

[PinaMadness]

Also, is it just me or has replay been a lot more kind to the Brewers than it used to be? Not that I think that was even close to a wrong call but there was a time when I doubted any call would go their way.

Good observation. It certainly seems that way after years of repeatedly getting the shaft.

[owbc]

Keep going until Sogard is pitching.

Some non Brewers good news

There is no structural damage to Giannis Antetokounmpo's left knee after his awkward landing last night in Atlanta; ligaments are sound, sources tell @ZachLowe_NBA and me. Timetable to return is unclear.

[PinaMadness]

So what's the over/under now on runs scored today?

[liveforoctober]

The most circus game of the year and we are not even half done yet.

[Guest]

I'm not sure where they sit now, but after what I've seen the last few days I'm pretty shocked they cubs had the "best" bullpen in the NL coming into this series.

POUR IT ON!

[PeaveyFury]

I know they have to let Richards hit, but it feels like there's blood in the water here....

Can't imagine he plays again this year ... but this is amazing news. His career arc shouldn't be altered. As it happened last night I immediately thought next year was in doubt. AMAZING news.

Walks to both Lauer and now Richards.

[SeaBass]

I really like this Nance guy. More of him please.

[sveumrules]

Incredible to just basically give away a game against the team chasing you in the standings.

Agreed. Can't believe the Cubs are giving this one away like this.

Don't they realize they are already five games back and down 8-3 in the season series?

[Zad Fnark]

They're plunking our guys today.

A Yelich HR will probably sink this ship.

Or, they could walk him...

[liveforoctober]

What is this game.

[markedman5]

Can’t help but think the lack of sticky stuff is at least partially to blame for all the wildness by both teams

[owbc]

These shots of Counsell are just money

[SeaBass]

Would love to see a big hit here for a real Cubs demoralizer.

[Guest]

Cubs should be out of mound visits now. We'll see if it's enforced.

This game is going over 5 hours and will end 19-17

Or maybe 19-7.

[Patrick425]

I think it's going to come down to going for the 2 point conversion at the end of the game.

[adambr2]

Good pitch. Not the right battle for Yelich and Haines to pick.

[markedman5]

Agreed…..no beef with that one

[Simba2020]

What are you griping about?

[MoreTrife]

Yelich pouring cold water on the party. Shouldn't have took it. Second K looking. Bad.
