ESPN's David Schoenfield made his "still too early" All-Star roster picks. Has Contreras as a starter, obviously. Slated Turang and Yelich as reserves. Admitted one of his two biggest snubs is Adames (Betts and De La Cruz ahead of him at SS).

Sad news indeed. .

Ill never forget seeing him hit 4 HRs in a game against the Braves in 1961.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Mays top 5 all-time in bWAR.  And looking at all of the names and the company he is in, I don't think it's unreasonable for anyone to make the argument that he is THE greatest player to ever play.

Since playing the Brewers on 5/29 Imanaga has given up 5 R, 2 R, 1 R and today 10 R.  In his previous 9 games he gave up a total of 7 R.  Looks like the league has caught up to him and he hasn’t really made an adjustment yet.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

I thought Bonilla got $1.19 million per year but I just read it's actually $1.2 million. I just sent him a bill for $.07 with a note saying a 2% late fee will be added after 10 days.

Keston called up with a chance to play against CC

And promptly goes down swinging on a 92 MPH 4 seamer at the top of the zone. The story of his career unfortunately.

The question I always go back to……is it that hard for triple A pitchers to throw a 92 mph fastball up in the zone?

Probably not, but likely they miss their spots more often
